UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Well it has gone to preparing to ship today....so fingers crossed that it ships very quickly.

It would be really great if it arrived by the weekend.

Had an email at 18.45 tonight saying my BTO 27" has been shipped, i needs to merge with applecare and a thunderbolt to firewire adaptor now before it comes to me so no further tracking info yet......... but the wait is almost over

iMac 27

After order details changing to Preparing for Shipping earlier toady, now had a text today confirming items have shipped plus an email confirming this too. Looks like two packages (each with tracking options).

Order details now also state 'Shipped'.

Still not able to track items - looks like they haven't updated that info yet?

Original order placed in UK on 3rd December 2012

Looks like not too long a wait now... I hope!;););)

Bad news is it won't actually leave China before Wednesday even though its shipped because its currently 8am in China - assuming of course the Chinese observe NY as a holiday there.

You guys may have a more enjoyable journey to your doorstep as that will probably not move until Wednesday BUT it will be delivered Friday I think so it will go straight to you from China. I hate tracking that doesn't move for days like my iMac that will be sitting in Germany for 3 days before it moves again Wednesday.
 
Although mine shipped today (31st) it's still not expected to be delivered until 8th which is a day earlier than the original delivery estimate :D

Mine hasn't moved since Saturday. Should I be worried or is it because of the whole Christmas/New Year holiday period? Has anyone seen movement from Shanghai after Saturday?

UPS standard isn't priority so if there is lots of express parcels then your iMac will be held until there is space AND it is new year as well.

I'd expect some movement by tomorrow lunchtime as remember china is 8 hours ahead of us so is is almost January 2nd there and we should expect movement again then. The delivery estimate given by the courieris usually spot on.

What service is your order being shipped by? UPS tracking says mine is UPS Worldwide Expedited.

That's the funny thing. TNT hasn't updated status since saturday, saying it's in Shanghai. But they also say delivery is due 2 jan. So one of those statements is wrong. Either things are moving without update or expected delivery will take a few more days.
Ah well, tomorrow we will know. :)

Flight 3V2 (TNT Cargo from Shanghai to Liege) left 12/31 at 02:30 Shanghai local time and arrived at Liege at about 07:45 local time.

Flight 3V6 (TNT Cargo from Shanghai to Liege) left 01/01 at about 08:00 from Shanghai local time and arrived at Liege at about 12:45 local time

Big chance your iMac was on one of these flights, i think they are transported from Liege to Arnhem after that.

Mine isn't being shipped with UPS. TNT is shipping mine. As long as it's here by Friday I don't care. :)

Where can you find the tnt flight schedule?
 
I got my new 27 inch BTO iMac a while ago however i just spotted a dead pixel right above the dock. I called apple and without any questions they are gonne send me a new iMac. They guy said that because its a BTO iMac it has to come from china again. But he said that he will push my order up the line. So i can expect to have the new one as soon as next week :) When i have the new one they will send a company to pickup my current one. Im very happy with this service :D

I I found it here, filled in the form an got it mailed right away. The times in the schedule are UTC times.

But the flightnumbers in the Excel sheet were the most important things to me: 3V2 and 3V6 in my case... i used some other sites like Flightmapper.net and flightradar24.com to find more info about these flights.

Thank you for the info! That would mean delivery on 2 jan, as TNT stated, is possible.
 
Well , I've twice been given a likely due date and its been missed. Still waiting , expected 2-4th but they confirmed on phone it will miss this even thou the site still shows it as 2nd-4th
