UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Well - there's one dude in this thread that ordered on Dec 13th and already gets his Mac shipped!... :eek:

So yes, there's hope.

I believe Apple factory are now at ramp up and producing more and more devices... They may therefore catch up with orders and slowly improve delivery windows. :)

I've got this message as well and I couldn't track mine but someone used this website and now I can track mine (it's in Frankfurt till tonight)

Mine has left Shanghai last night and is due to get to frankfurt this afternoon but for some reason the departure date from frankfurt is 16th so its apparently gonna site there for 2 days before getting to london on 17th

Amazing that yours only travels from Shanghai, Frankfurt than London,
rather than a lot of us, Shanghai, Seoul, Warsaw, Koeln .... (then might be London eventually)

It seems your iMac is well travelled, and just likes to see a bit more of the world :D

I think they are just putting cargo on as many flights as possible to make sure people get them before christmas holidays to be honest.
 
Phew! Finally! Was starting to get a bit worried there for a while, but now it is shipped an ready to join the rest of you guys. :D

No shipping details so far.

I got my shipment notification from Apple this morning. I live in the UK.
AND: I'm able to track it.
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) Dec 19, 2012

Funny detail: about 2 seconds after I saw this email I got a blue screen on my dear current machine.

(Un-)funny detail II: Tomorrow I'm going away for Christmas and will be back on the 27th :( I had it shipped to my work so hopefully it's still here when I get back.

Yeah, well it's never 100% isent it? i have a friend who loves UPS to death, so go wonder, it might turn out to be ok.

As for TNT, my past expirience is good, never had an issue with them, on time and they care for the packages (at least fro mwhat could see), they try hard to deliver them with no real damages.

My 'ready for UPS' was six hours earlier than the above at 6:30am, but then the unit hung about and didn't get a departure scan until more than five hours later than above at 9:54pm. The latest status I have is departure from Korea 12/14/12 at 12:56pm, so it's now waaaay behind.

Still shows as processing? I also ordered a thunderbolt to FireWire cable but don't see how this could hold it up.

I actually called Apple on the 1st in the early evening and they changed my Magic Mouse to a trackpad. They definitely didn't cancel and reorder tho as I still have the same order number and the delivery date has always said 27th-28th. Don't mind about getting it early but will be gutted if get it after 28th!

Is anyone in a similar position? Did anyone order on the 3rd and has their order preparing or shipped? I'm guessing changing to the trackpad may have pushed me back a bit

Should prob have ordered the FireWire adapter seperatley but not sure how this could hold it back really.

What's the latest we think it can ship for delivery 28th? And should I call apple at any stage?

Good news it's moving, Bad news is it needs to travel half of the world to reach its final home. Which we'll find out soon, stay tuned ;)

I think I was almost the first one here to have it shipped as well.
 
Ok now it has been on Preparing for Shipment for 24 hours, I´m starting to get inpatient again. Ship that thing all ready Apple! I want to start track its whereabouts.
 
Still not shipped. I'm hoping for later today or tomorrow. Not sure if they would ship on the weekend
 
I had this morning an Estimated Delivery Date of Dec 21 (By UPS), but I checked it few minutes ago, and now I get the tracking number and also my Estimated Delivery has changed to Dec 20!! :cool:
