UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

I feel silly for the number of times I've been checking my order status for the past couple of days, even my girlfriend is getting fed up of me.

I think Apple should introduce a system where the more times someone checks their order status, the higher up the manufacture / dispatch line their order moves!!

Ok I'm getting a little frustrated now, I ordered on the 30th like everyone who's had theirs at least preparing for shipment, it wasn't early on the 30th but 5pm isn't that late either. Still processing!

My order status has only recently changed from Processing to Prepare for shipment since yesterday morning UK time and I ordered mine on 30th Nov around 11am. This was when the estimated dispatch was still 2-3 weeks.
I don't think you understood the question, which was why, in the tracking system, does the box depart Shanghai then arrives in Shanghai, then departs Shanghai again. Here's yours...

I also get an origin scan in Shanghai, it just means it's left the factory/distribution centre and moves to the airport where it gets an export scan and then logged as on the move again.
For those of you who want to know your new serial number, you should see your device on the 'My Support' pages of the Apple website now. Mine is there, even though I'm still not sure if I'm going to get it on the 21st like everyone else that shipped today, or the 27th as my shipment status says. Hoping that the 'Subject to change' comment turns out to be accurate.

Snap! I ordered identical set up including tb/fw cable. At 08:38 on the 30th.
I have an Apple email saying delivery on 20th Dec but no carrier selected.....
APPLE email - "Please be notified that delivery of the iMac is taking place on 20 December. The courier is not assigned yet."

I wonder if the fact I included a thunderbolt cable with my order this somehow may be delaying it from moving on from proceeding.

Nah, I didn't add anything else other than ordering the following spec:
27" i5 3.2GHz
8GB RAM
680MX 2GB graphics
1TB fusion drive
Not that it helps you, but that is exactly the same as my spec. I ordered online at about 1pm. Got my 'preparing for shipment' yesterday morning and 'shipped' this morning. Not able to track yet (TNT), and still have a tentative date of (latest) 27th for delivery. CZ store, though actually ordered when I was in the UK in a London Apple store.
Update : I see the tracking number has changed and now I can see it on the TNT website. Even better news, I now also see 21st as delivery date

Status just changed to "Versand wird vorbereitet / preparing for shipment"
Status changed to shipped this Morning, ETA 21.12.,
My apple support profile already contains the new imac with the serial number.
Carrier is TNT. My shipping number starts with 82..., but TNT webtracking system still does not know this number
@mjsurf - Was the same with me. Sometime today it will change from an 82 number to a 52 number. Once it does, you'll be able to see it on the TNT site.
I ordered at 8:58 and still processing although as above I did also order a thunderbolt adapter so maybe that's affected it.
It's actually better for me if it comes after the 23rd as the girlfriend will be in as she's a teacher so I'm not too worried. Would b nice to have it b4 Xmas tho
