UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

My iMac has finally shipped!

Details as follows;

3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5

Ordered at 8:30am (approx) on Nov 30th, shipping notification came through around 20:00 on 14th December. Estimated delivery date is 28th December to Isle of Man (2 F'N weeks!) but that is 3 days earlier than the original estimate I was given.

I'd like to think that is worse case scenario and just Apple covering themselves to avoid disappointing their customers. Fingers crossed it may arrive some time next week.

I'm having trouble tracking anything though. Which code is it should be using to track the package?

Addition Order number?
Our Delivery Reference Number?
Your PO Number?

Yes mine is still stuck in Germany. Couldn't believe it was still stuck there when I pressed the refresh key a few minutes ago (12 hours after I had last refreshed it) :confused:

Mine also shows the carrier as UPS Ireland

Just checked my bank account online and Apple have put through the purchase this morning, so certainly getting close now :)

Mine has an arrival scan in GB this morning, after 30 hours in Germany. I guess they put it on ferry.

Unfortunately, there's no TNT flight during the weekend :(

Let's hope our 27" will travel on Monday from Shanghai in that plane:

Same configuration but the 3 TB Fusion Drive + AppleCare. Ordered the first minutes the store was up. Processing.

Well - happened exactly the same to me.

I'm sure our Macs will travel together, with leerichards1's one.
The 12h15 flight duration might look shorter for them, if they can talk together :D

Seriously, our Macs will travel from Shanghai on Monday only (no weekend flight) and land in Liege (Belgium) in the early morning! Looks great!

Must have left mine behind in the warehouse in Germany :(

This is worse than I remember tracking my iPad one when it was released. Still I ended up picking it up from the local UPS depot the night before the launch. Not sure if the local UPS depot is open on a SUnday if it makes it there tomorrow, which it should as it is still showing as to be delivered on Monday.

Just checked their opening times and it shuts at 12:30 Saturday and doesn't reopen till 9am Monday os even if it arrives in the depot I'll not get it till Monday. Looks like a run to their depot after work then, assuming it eventually leaves Germany

But can you find your imac on any tracking site??
 
Christmas Present?

Seem to be about 45 'items' (of which at least one is an iMac!) on Etihad (the "Ferrari of Freight") flight to LHR arriving Tues 18th (allegedly).

Click on "Events" for flight details

Click on "References" to see the '82...' numbers.

How could they separate us!!!!! :eek:

I guess it'll be Monday delivery anyway. I'll have to call in sick. Lol

Gosh watching the tracking is really frustrating. UPS really take ages.

Mine is still stuck in Germany having followed others to Germany with exactly the same tracking history. It's been in Koeln since Thursday.

Monday or Tuesday is fine for me, Wednesday isn't.

Ringing up UPS soon to confirm its still in Germany and see what we're waiting for, I'll let you guys know what they say

I havent been able to in the beginning, but now i can see it.

Has anyone ones ordered changed from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment" today? If so let us know! Otherwise its gonna be a long ole weekend :(

Mine also changed to 19 december with TNT.
But I think it will be on the flight from Shanghai to Liege Belgium, so it could be even sooner I guess...
 
Switched to "shipped" two days ago, got email yesterday, but can't track it yet. I also have no idea which carrier I've got, does this show up for most people immediately?

All I've got is the order reference and it turns up empty on all the tracking sites. But maybe its in a dinghy somewhere in the pacific slowly making its way over. Ohh well.
 
Guys - can I get some advice on this...

I need to buy two base model 27" iMacs - am I better off waiting for them to appear in the stores or should I pre-order...?

I feeling that I've seriously missed the pre-order boat and that it might be a mistake to order now...

Any thoughts?
 
Mine is stuck in Arnhem Hub (Netherlands) since Dec 13... From there to my hometown in Germany it is a 4hr drive. Why does it take so goddamn long for TNT to just get this ting delivered.
