Originally advised delivery 27th-28th Dec.
Then advised delivery 20th Dec with 2 products merging.
No indication of carrier until yesterday - UPS with shipping number.

The iMac left Pudong on the 14th via Virgin. Arrived Heathrow on the 15th - released to consignee on the 17th now at Tamworth. Left Tamworth late on 17th and arrived Gatwick at 05:30 today 18th - out for delivery.

Info says 2 items - iMac 27" and Thunderbolt adapter

Total package weight 0.1Kgs! I do hope it is heavier than that!

Mine arrived in Abingdon (1/2 hour away) at 6.30 so will be out for delivery shortly... I hope I am one of the first deliveries lol...

Right I've got an issue now. My order is finally preparing for shipment which is good but what this means is I will not receive it until after Christmas which is not good because I will not be home, I will be working and my family will not be home either.

I want to receive it as soon as possible it now it looks like it's going to arrive when no one is home, what are my options?
 
I have still no possibility to track my order (shipped friday) and the Apple page still says 4th... :( so I guess planning for a sooner delivery is pointless. Yay for 3 weeks delivery time :eek: !! Way to go apple!

With UPS once you get the tracking number you can re-arrange the delivery...maybe ring them for more info.

I sincerely feel sorry for you.
While I was waiting for my own status to change, I was enjoying to read others ones change. That's why I submit mine too.

Hope this is still OK with the philosophy of this thread :confused:

Yeah, Epeditors seem to be responsible just for getting big crates of iMacs to the UK, not for the "last mile" delivery. So any date you see on their site is for your iMac being delivered to Apple or a UK carrier. Delivery to you will likely be within 48 hours of that date.

My penultimate Expeditors entry was 15.00 yesterday with 'Requested Delivery Date' (the Consignee for me was UPS), got UPS Tracking at 9pm last night. Mac was at Tamworth, then transferred to Northampton & 6.00am out for delivery. So just a day after the 'Delivered to Consignee' entry.

From order at 8.30 on 30th & delivery 27-28th, next was delivery 20th & now delivery 18th-today for 'Merged' (with Applecare) BTO 27". For info & good luck to all waiting - uncertainty is 'orrible'!

Yesterday's night delivery date change TO THE 20TH at the end went back to its original 19th :) looks like my iMAC didnt miss the morning flight after all:

As long as you haven't heard a message of faulty payment or anything there shouldnt be anything wrong. I would wait until friday, they are still within their promised delivery range. Some people here are lucky and get it before xmas, and some are not. I'm one of the "unlucky" ones...Mine has shipped, but it's still planned for delivery 4th of january and for all I know it hasn't even left the production plant but is ready to be picked up. Originally it mine was planned for delivery 8th of jan. So, even if your ships on friday, you can still get it before me :D

But, its frustrating, I know...:(
