Just so I can understand that all correctly because I'm interested in the option:

As soon as the pre-order goes live, I should be able to make a try-in reservation for the Apple Store in Berlin. There, if I like a model, I can say 'OK, I'll take that one.' and then pick it up on the 24th of April?

Nope. They will tell you to go to apple.com/store and order your Watch there. There won't be any pickup in the stores.

To my understanding there will be 3 options in the EU:
1. Pre-order with home delivery - starting 4/10 at 8:01 am (BST).
2. Reservation and pick up (in store) - starting 4/10 at 8:01 am (BST).
3. Try-on appointment reservation.

The first two guarantee you getting the :apple:Watch. The last one depends on the supply, but it does not equal product reservation.

About the reservations: neither we don't know exacly nor the Apple staff but my guess is, they will be available tommorow. We'll have to wait and see.

I dont think that option 2 will be available.

I don't think number 2 is going to be an option.

Just as we are getting closer to the 24th, do you think that reservation (not in-store pickup!) will be an option? The reservation site redirects to storefront but still if you manage to see its source code you can find this:
Apple Watch reservations are available from 8:00 am on 25 April. Please come back then to make a reservation for same-day pickup.

Nope..forget about that until june. The site should have been up since the 10th in the US, but they changed their minds.

But the question is: will it be opened tomorrowmorning or will this option only be available after launch....

Reserverations to pick up will not be until they start selling them in-store, which is not happening yet, as Watches are Exclusively online during the launch period.

Anyway, Reserve to pickup was usually for next day initially, before expanding once it all calmed down.
