Fingers crossed. Did JL have stock?
Seemed to have lots of stock but given the posts above your advice re keeping the one with debris under the screen is starting to sound like a good plan. I'll see what the JL one is like and decide then.

I'm in the same boat, got mine from JL with the price match but thinking of returning due to the yellow screen near the home button. Did the Apple store take your existing one before they ordered the replacement ? I mean , were you able to test the new one before you gave up the old one?
On Tuesday night I noticed that PC world/Currys online were selling the rMini iPad's with cash back deals, so ordered a rMini iPad cell 64GB. Arrived last night and in perfect condition, no yellowing on the screen. Interestingly both were DLXLR the same code, I guess it could be just down to bad luck! My first order was via the Apple online store direct.
I've had my Retina Mini for about a week now and it's everything I wanted improved on the regular mini and more.
I don't personally mind the screen and find the resolution difference is astounding compared to the old model. The improvements in speed I feel are immense also.
I can't imagine what Apple will do to top both the Air and Mini Retina but I've got to say I'm interested on how they will further perfect these things as they are pretty much perfect in all ways as they are today.
Kudos Apple.
Just a big iPod touch I remember murmuring back in the day..... How wrong I was!![]()
Anyone had to return an Air to John Lewis? Not because it was faulty but because they changed their mind? Any hassles?
strictly if bought instore the return to JL should be unused ..otherwise it is at their disretion.
this is all written up on the returns section of thier website.
good luck
