So people who are ordering it from EE, do they offer a yearly upgrade option? if yes, what are the terms and is it straight forward?

When I read the ordeal that everyone goes through ordering from anywhere but Apple it makes me think why doesn’t everyone order from Apple. I used to order from O2 but I got fed up of not knowing whether it was coming until the day of the delivery so now buy outright from Apple.

1) Because I'm in an anytime upgrade plan with EE
2) Because I haven't got a grand lying around
3) Because I cant get finance on it

I bought a full grain leather case from Mujjo. It’s arriving from The Netherlands so should have it fairly soon. I’ve had a Mujjo leather case on my iPhone XS for the past 2 years and it still looks fantastic Hence why I’ve gone for the same. They are 99% identical to Apple’s leather cases other than the buttons on the Mujjo which are also leather (which feel far nicer than Apple’s metallic buttons).
How's the buttons responsiveness? It's one of my bug bears. Must have good easy buttons to press.

2 more nights and we good! Funny thing is I’ve told work that I’m going to take less meetings this week because of my phone arriving but I guess that means I’m less busy and time is going slow

Can you post a link please Dino?

Read that back and have a think about it.

😂 I am a student who has finished uni not even 1 month ago and I’m only working part time due to COVID. I think I’m good.

My screen time isn’t a true representation of my Apple addiction. It appears to be broken as I have just noticed it thinks I have been on here non stop since midnight and I haven’t. Unless I am just denying my addicition 😂

As a current uni student, with a ‘blended’ learning format at the moment who hasn’t worked since February due to COVID, I completely understand where your coming from.
Sometimes it’s nice to have something to distract yourself. And if that so happens to be a forum full of fellow oddballs talking about talking about an iPhone launch and 1 hour slots, then so be it.

I am applying for jobs at the same time so it is a win win.

tbh the amount of time he has spent on here in the past week probably supersedes the amount of work done during the whole time at Uni 😂

My EE order has changed to 23rd a delivery.

i find it cheaper going to EE directly if your upgrading yearly because.........

£89 with 100GB data and Apple music
+ £14 for insurance = £103 x 12 = £1,236

after 12 months, you can sell your iPhone for around £500 and start a new contract with a new iPhone. Use the £500 as your anytime upgrade fee.

Direct viaApple
otherwise £1,100 for the phone + £240yr for sim + £120yr for Apple Music + £120 year Apple care = around £1600

If you sell the phone after a year for sound £500 you’ve spend about £1k- £1100

Actually it’s roughly the same thing 😂

A lot of people don’t order through Apple because they don’t offer the deals you can get elsewhere. We might have to wait a bit longer but hey, it’s not the end of the world if the price is better IMO.
