My Apple order arrives Friday and Amazon Saturday. I'm sure I'll manage to not touch the Apple delivery but there will be times in the day I'll be sorely tempted!

I was on Amazon pretty quickly last week and didn't see any pre-orders for delivery on the 23rd. Did I miss them or have Amazon just decided to delay delivery by 24 hours? I wonder if it's to do with courier availability.

I never even took note of delivery when ordering on Amazon, I just quickly clicked 'graphite iPhone 12 pro' as that was the first one that popped up and quickly ordered before they sold out. Then I saw id clicked 128gb and the delivery was for Saturday (I only need 128gb anyway so I wasn't fussed about that, just annoyed id missed out on a potential 512gb at £849 😂 )

But waiting 1 extra day for a £150 saving really is a no-brainer! I just find it hard to believe people genuinely can't just not open their Apple delivery on the Friday knowing full well the'll have another being delivered probably less than 24 hours later, which they'll then have to go through the whole restore process again on the new phone and their 'Apple' phone will be wasted and torn apart, when it could just be returned unopened and sold immediately as new to somebody.

Luckily on Friday ill be working all day anyway (albeit from home..) so ill be occupied while the unopened apple box stares at me...then on Saturday Ill just wash the car or something to pass the time waiting for the amazon delivery!

Synchreon are just a logistics hub, where all of the stock arrives.

Its then allocated to couriers, who get it to your local delivery hub, where drivers pick it up to deliver to you.

Could be anyone then. No notifications from the usual, DPD UPS etc....

don’t think Perks or Student codes work on sim only, they didn’t online but got the Loyalty discount applied

Perks definitely work on Sim Only. I got a 20gb one online for my son the other day.

The delivery date I was given on my Amazon order was for the Monday so I had to pay for the premium delivery to get it for Sat 24th

AO.com just called to say I won't receive the phone on Friday as originally planned, it's not going to be until sometime next week now. Apparently Apple have advised there are delays in the supply line so they don't have the stock to send out. Gutted.

Perks or Student Discount worked on my older 20GB then 60GB plans but failed online trying to upgrade to the 5G 100GB plan

I believe “Perks” is the portal where people who work for certain companies can get discount with EE. I doubt this would show in MyEE.

...where are you seeing 'perks' in your account then? When I go into the EE iOS app, I don't have an option for 'perks' (my account is sim only)...??!

Student works on SIM only for sure. I took advantage of that!

In fact with my blue light discount, loyalty bonus, student discount and perks, EE are paying me £15 a month to take their service. 😁

Could you apply student discount & blue light?
