I did wonder with AO. Their stock did appear to hang around quite a while comparative to others. Can John Lewis be relied on generally ? Or could it be another case, possibly, of over selling ? Of course the AO issue may be supply related delays..

Did they take your money immediately? They took the amount off my card straight away on the Friday so I'll not be happy if they don't delivery on launch day.

From my experience just because they took the amount off right away is no guarantee that you'll get the item on launch day.

Just to add that if you do order from John Lewis you can choose click and collect from a Waitrose or John Lewis.

From my experience JL are very good - if they are out of stock you will know immediately.

JL are very good. I bought iPad 8 128GB for our four year old. Placed order online for next day click and collect. They also price matched.
And 2 years warranty.

Apple were showing delivery times in access of one month and no pick ups available in store.

Sure, It was supposed to be £28 but they applied a £5.00 loyalty discount to it yesterday (I asked after seeing some deals on here) so it went down to £23.00 and then they've just applied the 20% off code on top.
