I don't know if im more excited for phones to start arriving or to see the excitement of posts when Amazon dispatch emails start going out (hopefully) tomorrow!

I'd be more excited about my Apple order arriving tomorrow if Amazon just cancelled there's now...until they do that I keep forgetting ive even got a phone coming tomorrow from Apple.. Saturday is my Friday 😂

for high value items they use DPD and royal mail.

let's see, bring on the Saturday. First time I get something with delay and I am happy (although tomorrow I'll have the apple order as well, but won't touch it).
 
So when ordering it said I can take my trade in with me to be inspected and applied to my finance to may monthlies cheaper but my email confirmation if tomorrow's collection stated a kit will be sent to me... id rather take the phone and it be safely handed to staff and applied than sent in the post....
 
So I’m getting my brother to pick up my iPhone tomorrow, I’ve put his contact details in the pickup contact selection in the Apple app, is he meant to receive an email? Or can he just go with the barcode and ID and pick it up?
 
Mines is the exact same as the rest of the NI orders, but app still says delivery will be tomorrow.

If it doesn’t arrive, I’ll be raging as had the opportunity to also reserve for pick up at the Apple Store in Belfast when pre ordering.
 
Anyone with Vodafone had a shipping notification yet? I paid for 23rd October 8am - 10am, yet when speaking to them online I was just told “You could get it tomorrow, you could get it in a few days. We don’t know anything else” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Such a pain considering their website took an HOUR to accept orders 🤦🏻‍♂️

I cancelled my CPW order so I’m fully relying on that Amazon order! It would be incredibly unprofessional of them to cancel at this point. Very cancelled my order within an hour, and Amazon could’ve done the same if they wanted to. I’m confident they will deliver.

Absolutely. Cancelling them the day after we ordered I can understand. Cancelling them a week later when people could’ve ordered elsewhere for a quicker delivery date is not a good customer experience.

But it doesn’t matter, because they’ll dispatch them tomorrow anyway ;)

In fairness, it does warrant a complaint now if it did happen.

Yes.. WE knew the price was wrong... but someone who isnt tech savvy etc and just saw an iPhone and bought it, for it to then be cancelled after a week leaving them having to order another... which now can't be delivered for weeks due to the backlog.

If they did cancel on me now id probably complain somehow and see what I could get, I wouldn't push but even a £10 voucher would be something at least :rolleyes: I've never had to complain to amazon so wouldn't even know where to start!

Not that it matters as I've had the DPD Email, app notification and the Apple store app says dispatched, but I've now got the email from Apple saying my iPhone 12 Pro is on its way.

I hope it has a safe journey and look forward to seeing it tomorrow :)
 
Am I too late to pay up my IUP tomorrow morning, for a pickup later in afternoon I have for 12 IUP

Still not 100% sure Apple will want my current IUP 11 back as per my reservation. Just means I owe £340, Apple separate trade in says £420 so it’s a tidy profit?

Was going to get a Mini, partly because I was going to be away from tomorrow for a few days. Plans have changed, I’ve persuaded myself that the mini battery may not be up to much so I’ve just been to GiffGaff and ordered a 12.
Was going to get a Pro but I want silver. GiffGaff didn’t have them so I’ll try for a silver Pro Max in a few weeks time.

Astonishingly my town is on the list, and I thought it would take until 2021 or even 2022!!!

You can check the current O2 5G coverage with the O2 Coverage Checker
An even better option is the O2 My Network app.
On both options, you can overlay with the mast locations, which is spot on accurate. I don't think that any of the other networks give this level of details on their coverage maps.
