Hi, also on 5 months (used my Amazon Mastercard...), £169.80 just taken, saying 'arriving tomorrow'. Still have my slot to pick up a second 12 Pro 128gb tomorrow.
I'm sure its all fine, could also be down to the bank then.. Im with Nationwide for anyone else on here also waiting to see when amazon take payment?

Im in the same boat as you, my Apple delivery should be here in the next 10 minutes yet all I actually want is my amazon dispatch email šŸ˜‚

was also told there's a 2 year guarantee on the Belkin ones so to register it. If it ever cracks, Belkin will send a new one and the apple store with fit it?!
My chap told me they don’t fit the replacement, it’s down to Belkin to just replace the protector.

My argument would be that I purchased a product that they fitted, so they inherit the fitting too.

I had one fitted at in-store before that cracked after about 2 weeks, belkin said I could either return to the store to get it replaced or they would send a replacement in the mail, for me as my local store was 90 mins away i got it mailed to me but it came with an easy application case.

I’m with Barclays and still waiting for Amazon to take my money

also I don’t think they even had all models available? I have stock notifications on for 128gb pacific and silver, but didn’t receive anything. Checked at 08:05 and most models were unavailable.

Definitely less inventory in John Lewis than a usual iPhone launch day.

I was monitoring the Pro's stock at 8:00am, first nothing at all then just after 8am Pacific Blue went live, still nothing for the other colours. Between 8:01am to 8:02am JL briefly had all colours but the Gold, Silver and Graphite were quickly out of stock. Pacific Blue stayed in stock a bit longer so they must have predicted that would be the big seller so acquired more. By around 8:05am when you checked everything was hasta la vista!

Apple store Manchester Trafford Centre was quiet first thing this morning. Arrived at 7.55 for an 8.15 IUP reservations. Couldn’t have been more than 10 people outside with no real queue, easily outnumbered by the staff inside the store. Opened up at exactly 8; staff member asked those with reservations to stand to one side. The 4 who didn’t who’d turned up on spec for a chance of a walk-in phone were asked to leave and to make an online reservation.

The 4 with 8am reservations were taken in, and 10 mins later those with 8.15 reservations, a couple more having joined the queue since 8.

In store, everything was running like clockwork; temp check, mask and hand wash on the way in, wipes and hand gel on every table for iPhone deactivation and entering details for the IUP application. Then off to the back of the store to pick out a plum silicone case, then out the door before 8.30am. Back home for 9.20am.

Both Apple Store & Trafford Centre staff were fantastic, their system this morning working fantastically well.

As for the 256GB silver Pro itself - hella nice! The premium feel in the hand of the materials and construction really is quite something. The closest way to describe it is an oversized iPhone 5 except made with top class stainless steel rather than aluminium. Busy restoring from iCloud, but I absolutely love it already.
Silver is becoming more appealing every time I see it.

The only thing holding me back is the lack of PVD coating to stop scratches as I go caseless.

anyone got any photos of the blue 12 by any chance? I need to wait another 24 bloody hours for mine to arrive lol. Congrats to those who got their hands on theirs today.

This makes sense, but it would have been nice for Apple to make that clear in advance. The lack of information from them basically invites walk-ups so I can also understand if they were frustrated. They could have perhaps provided appts for them to come back later? How do online pickup reservations even work - I thought the physical stock for walkups wasn’t surfaced in the store?

That store was closed twice wasn’t it due to Covid I think. 14 days at a time..
