Quick and easy process at Apple Store, Belfast.

Pacific blue is beautiful but the 12 blue is amazing. Like a dark navy blue.

Unfortunately I’ll be returning my Pro as I’ve come from a Galaxy S20 and it’s just too small. I’ll be on the Pro Max train with you all.

Just received a delivery time slot :D

My AO delivery is 6 away from me (it was 9 an hour ago) but it looks like its coming on an AO van and not DPD. The countdown is slow but I guess they may have washing machines and fridge/freezers on the van so unloading them will take a bit longer than the small parcels you normally get with DPD.

Must be patient and get on with some work rather than watching the map and these forums.....

Anyone else not able to live track on DPD, it still is giving me the 1 hour slot but won't live track

I can track but in fairness the app has been glitchy for me and sometimes comes up with error messages. Refreshing helps so try that, but depending on where you are it could also be for security reasons like has been mentioned, if the driver's on private land etc. Also apparently if the driver goes on a break I think it stops? So could be a number of things. If it was working earlier it'll work again mate.

Not happened for me yet, although I clicked pay over the 5 months which I think said they take the first month when the item dispatches so I wonder if that makes a difference..
Hi, also on 5 months (used my Amazon Mastercard...), £169.80 just taken, saying 'arriving tomorrow'. Still have my slot to pick up a second 12 Pro 128gb tomorrow.

I cant for my iPad, I remarking DPD a few years ago this and apparently on busy days such as release days they often disable it for both security and to stop people overloading their site/hassling the drivers

That makes so much sense - always found it mad that you can text/call DPD and DHL drivers. If I was one I could see that getting annoying fast

Apple store Manchester Trafford Centre was quiet first thing this morning. Arrived at 7.55 for an 8.15 IUP reservations. Couldn’t have been more than 10 people outside with no real queue, easily outnumbered by the staff inside the store. Opened up at exactly 8; staff member asked those with reservations to stand to one side. The 4 who didn’t who’d turned up on spec for a chance of a walk-in phone were asked to leave and to make an online reservation.

The 4 with 8am reservations were taken in, and 10 mins later those with 8.15 reservations, a couple more having joined the queue since 8.

In store, everything was running like clockwork; temp check, mask and hand wash on the way in, wipes and hand gel on every table for iPhone deactivation and entering details for the IUP application. Then off to the back of the store to pick out a plum silicone case, then out the door before 8.30am. Back home for 9.20am.

Both Apple Store & Trafford Centre staff were fantastic, their system this morning working fantastically well.

As for the 256GB silver Pro itself - hella nice! The premium feel in the hand of the materials and construction really is quite something. The closest way to describe it is an oversized iPhone 5 except made with top class stainless steel rather than aluminium. Busy restoring from iCloud, but I absolutely love it already.

I'm sure it will arrive today but it says it hasn't even left the local depot yet. Oh well, only 2 hours left of my slot!
