Glad I ordered blue, can’t wait till Monday to get this bad boy, can see a lot of people changing their mind now since they weren’t happy with the color previously.
I’ve got the gold and its great. Had silver for X. It seems that gold is very rare so think I’ll stick with it.

yeah this happened to mine too. The advantage of the stainless steel silver however is that you actually polish it back to pretty much brand new, with regular metal polish.

There isn’t a coating on the silver as far as I’m aware.
People have been polishing the stainless watches for years with no ill effects.
Im sure there is PVD coating on all Pro models but i could be wrong. That is a bonus if you can use metal polish.

‘No pro models for me this year, disappointed with the 12 series, save some Money for 120hz and bigger batteries on the pro models next year, plus the x60 modem should be a lot better than the x55.
I kind of felt this way last year about my green 11 Pro when hubby got the silver 11 Pro a few weeks later. Actually still got regrets which is why am contemplating the gold max.
I also bought the clear ESR case and agree with you, not much front protection. I also don’t think the fit over the buttons is perfect but it’ll be ok for a couple of weeks while I await the official Apple leather case.
