I called 3 times today and each time they couldn't even apply my 20% code to the plan, never mind negotiate a loyalty discount. Maybe I should just try again tomorrow but they are very stubborn despite me knowing it's possible.

Picked my 12 Pro up this evening at Apple Birmingham. Seemed like they had quite a few available.
Anyway I was there to do iUP but for some reason it wasn’t approved (first time thats happened). Thankfully I still had my apple card so paid in full and got 3% off both the phone and apple care+. Although nothing compared to the Amazon folk.

Just been playing catch up again! I wonder what the speakers are like on the new phones, wonder if there's much difference compared to the 11 pro? Also with those of you expecting November 2nd deliveries and your phones preparing to ship, I estimate that I should see a change on mine by around this time next week, so that should be good! I mean it's arriving between November 2nd and 9th, so we'll have to see. I'm also thinking about apple care as well, this week I subscribed to Monzo Premium and that does have phone insurance as well, but i'm really wondering about doing monthly apple care. Sorry i'm not quoting any of you guys, voiceover that reads to me what is on the screen for some reason when I go to quote someone, it won't let me type in the box, it's really frustrating!

Has anyone got the “iPhone storage other data” problem on the new 12. Restored from iCloud backup and suddenly there is 40gb of “other’ data that was never there before. Any fixes guys?
Set up as new. You are just transferring all the old cr@p from your old phone.
Waking up at 6:00am on a Saturday to check stock only to be disappointed really sucks. I have to say, this year’s iPhone pre-order process has been abysmal, and in the 6 or 7 years that I’ve been getting the newest iPhone at launch, this has been the worst. I’m feeling ready to give up.
Anyone worried about the 14.2 beta on their old phone, and transferring to the iPhone 22:
someone here said to set it up as a new phone, sign in and download the beta on your new phone. Install 14.2. Now wipe your phone and start again. You can now install the iCloud backup from your old phone. It worked fine when I did it

still having issues here getting a new S6 paired to the 12 Pro with the EE watch plan off my old S3

i think apple used to do a branded partnership credit card with one of the UK companies a while ago (Barclays?) that gave you a discount. Might be misremembering that though. Other thing he could mean is an employee discount card I suppose.
