is there a way to change which card is used by apple pay when you tap the button? It used my 'spending money' card I normally use for when I'm out and about. Managed to quickly transfer money onto it so should be ok.

You need to go into the wallet app and change the default card

Had a nightmare with curry’s it wouldn’t accept my £1100 vouchers so had to add a usb £14 cable ,then it still wouldn’t work then it let me select paypal to check out using my vouhchers but still not hopeful it will arrive at launch

You can buy AppleCare+ after you get the phone. There's no urgency.

My voucher didn't work using my iPad for some reason. Worked first time on my pc which is weird.

I too am dubious about the delivery for the 13th

I did have a minor fright, as I got an email - "Your invoice from Apple" - at 12:58 whilst I was opening/closing/opening the Store App, but it was for my rolling monthly Apple Music subscription! 😱😂 Terrible timing!

Neither the website or the app even let me in until 13:04, app worked first while site wouldn't let me. Added the Pro Max 128Gb Graphite to the basket, but at checkout failed with "An interruption occurred while placing your order" etc etc.

Tried several times but eventually used the website and managed to get one. Email confirmation at 13:08.

I've never done a trade-in before but just traded in my 11 Pro Max as part of my online 12 Pro Max order for home delivery next Friday. The info about the trade in says that Apple will send out a return box with label and instructions. Is that dispatched as part of the same delivery as the new iPhone or is it dispatched separately i.e. will probably arrive earlier next week rather than on the Friday?

It doesn't make any difference to me, I'm just curious.

how reliable should amazon be? They say preorder and when I clicked through it said estimated delivery nov 14th so the saturday. If they should have plenty of stock I'll cancel my apple order because Amazon have returns until end of Jan

It's normal, happens every year, usually takes a few hours for everything to return to normal.
