Oh wow that is naughty of barclays. Had an email at 13:17 saying finance application accepted, it has now disappeared and I have received another just a moment ago. They have obviously recalled the first application? If that screws with my wait time I am going to be pissed.

i had this non stop and eventually it went through - but i had to re-enter my phone number on the details page. annoying. i had entered it before

Thanks. They emailed me to say I have up to 2 weeks after lockdown ends to return to the store to return my 12 Pro for a refund.

I've now ordered the 12 Pro Max for delivery next Friday! I hope I don't find it too big a phone - I guess I'll have both to compare.

I would hope that they realise that out of all the pre-orders, it's inevitable that some will get blocked by bank security. Hopefully, they allow a chance to resolve it, eg. by waiting for finance okay or (credit cards - mean time bank phones to check okay) trying again after x hours.
 
For those wondering why in-store collection is not possible for phones, but for things like chargers, it's because Apple doesn't exactly want to encourage a massive crowd of people coming in to collect their phones. The likelihood of a horde of people choosing 'in person collection' for a charger is much slimmer.

i've now had my barclays loan go through - but apple still showing on hold. Dont care now anyway.. I will cancel my order with Apple as I've ordered from amazon apple store. :)

14th delivery date. I can wait 1 extra day.

Mine says this as well. I had the error message ordering. i am assuming it should be fine but let me know how you get on- I did pre approve too

I ordered a 128GB blue iPhone Mini for delivery next Friday. I got that annoying error message too so re-started checkout and it cleared.

Have ordered a blue leather Apple case and a Spigen clear case.

Just seen that - the description indicates it’s the case not the wallet ? The Baltic blue one is £52 - typically that is the one I want.

When ordering the 12 Pro last launch day I had an old Credit Card on file, they sent me an email, saying order on hold for 7 days, but kept delivery date. The email allows you to use a different payment method etc.
 
stupid apple app taking 10 minutes before it was responsive. Got a mini 128 in white ordered anyway. But will check JL because I need a christmas return window as its a gift
 
Ordered my iPhone Pro Max at 1pm, received my confirmation email at 1pm also for 13th Nov delivery.
The payment was declined, however Apple held the order for me until my bank confirmed the charge. All sorted now. So happy!

I just ordered one. It is the colour I wanted and if, in fact, it is the case it's still a good price. Delivery on Sunday so I will soon see...
 
is there a way to change which card is used by apple pay when you tap the button? It used my 'spending money' card I normally use for when I'm out and about. Managed to quickly transfer money onto it so should be ok.
