I can agree with several people on here who say DPD are the best delivery company, never had a problem with them. Hermes and Yodel, everyones had their experiences! Even UPS we have had bad times with. I do feel for the delivery drivers on iPhone day though. I remember last year with the 11 launch, our local delivery woman who comes to my work got assaulted on her rounds on launch day as the thiefs knew there would be iPhones on her van, fortunately she was ok, albeit a bit shaken up, but I really do hope they are all able to stay safe and keep an extra eye out on Friday!
Blimey people are crazy

Just need the iPhone now :D

I’m not sure why you’ve bought that cable when the iPhone comes with one. Also I’m not sure how good Spigen’s cables and power accessories are like as they are not know for them. Personally I would have gone with Anker who have a reputation for making quality products which are MFI certified.

Call me mad but I never use the included accessories for any of my phones. Leave them brand new, helps resale value

These were on discount on amazon and there maybe a few mins difference between charge times with the anker/spigen and original but doeent really bother me.

I only charge over night and never during the day

It costs £1.50. Log in to MyEE. Go to replacement sim and choose eSIM then choose move eSIM to new device. New sim will arrive in about 2 -3 days.

Silly question but I assume your physical sim will continue working till you activate the eSim?

Any idea what happens when you swap phones later on can you just swap it to a new device?

Does anyone know if orders can still be tracked? I remember back in IP6 pre-order days there was a UPS site with air delivery tracking from China etc.

I have this bookmarked from several years ago but doesnt load:
https://supportprofile.apple.com

This allowed everyone to see the serial number of the phone they were going to get etc.

U.K. iPhones are not dispatched from China, that only works for Americans.

Think this changed quite a while ago. In those days they never came via the distribution centre. They were shipped direct. Now they go to Syncreon in Hinkley and shipped from there.

Be careful. They deactivated my physical on two occasions. Luckily i had spare sims on hand. I ended up with three e sims in the end. They ended up putting £30 credit to my acocunt.

This happened to me in the middle of the first lock down, had to wait for them to send another one in the post. Took nearly a week, didn't have a spare SIM and I couldn't even go to a EE store to pick one up. I was not impressed.

I'm slightly confused.

I've preordered iPhone 12 Pro Max - currently using a iPhone XS Max. Do I need to change my sim? I'm on EE.

I know its too early for 12 series, say 9 or 15 months down the line, i dont want refurbished ones for £14 PM
If it’s anything like the old insurance from when they were Orange, it’ll be a refurbished device. They used to have their own device refurbishment centre back then with technicians trained by the manufacturers.
I used to train some of their staff when I was at Nokia.
