No news and nothing from DPD app yet, ordered friday, payment didn't go through properly as EE systems were down and then it fully went through Sunday.

No DPD tracking yet but order says delivering tomorrow.

Roll on. And if I do this again next year then I need a spare iPhone to use since android for a week has tested my extremely limited patience.

I thought about ordering the wallet too but cancelled it and just got the case. I may change my mind yet 🤓
 
Are Apple using DPD for all deliveries this time??
Anyone within the M25 with a DPD confirmation?

Really hoping I get a DPD notification with a time slot too!!!
 
I have my fingers crossed for DPD, not a fan of the tracking and limited journey information for DHL. This screenshot was from LAST TUESDAY (don't panic!). Apple decided to send me a case via DHL and I was hoping for a regular post. I had my hour timeslot, but 10 minutes into that time slot it was still a guestimation as to how far away it was... I think it eventually came halfway through the timeslot so I can't really complain

Few white lies going through the EE camp. When i was called yesterday i said the reason i haven't gone with EE is because there was a 21 day wait on the pro max. Agent said that was incorrect and would be delivered friday 😕

When i checked the caller number it was one of EE's partners 'inspire' or something. I was thinking maybe they would be supplying the phone on behalf of EE. Just a guess though or maybe ive been sold down the river
 
A 'dry rub' is no 'early slut', but that's my little contribution to the lexicon.

Think I'm more likely to go with the green, the dark cherry is just a bit too far on the purple side of maroon for me.

I'd normally got for a blue, but there aren't leather blue ones this year and I've always found the silicone ones to not be that long-lasting.

Looks like my iPad mini will now be coming in the same delivery, which is ideal. Also got my groceries coming around the same time, will be tense moment when the buzzer goes to see whether it's the exciting or boring delivery.

Mythbusters showed you can polish a turd (if I remember rightly they were most successful with lion), though obviously that doesn't apply to UKMail/DHL

No it wasn't that number but i did confirm it was a genuine number. I'm not currently on an EE contract but used to be which is why i got cold called i think

A few of us, myself included, are within the M25 and have DPD slots locked in tomorrow.
 
I'm wondering what's going to be shipped first, the 13pro max or the iPad mini.... I've told the other half to work from the office tomorrow so I don't mess up going on the afternoon walk with an inconvenient delivery time for the phone plus I'll be wanting to set it up immediately (obvs!)

It's actually so I can set take delivery of the mini, set it up, and hide the boxes so I don't get caught out having made not one but TWO rediculous spends in a day 😆 ;)
