If its Syncreon tracking it'll be DHL only. DPD deliveries don't track via Syncreon.

both should... DHL tracking links tend to come out early evening whereas DPD send theirs earlier.

Also just got my dispatch email as well as the text, I cant pick a time slot though as they have not got my parcel yet, but its due for delivery tomorrow. I'll let DPD do its thing and not mess about in case I muck something up.

There was a post yesterday though from somebody saying how they never received the email until 2 days after they were paid..

My order now shows as shipped in the app and upon clicking track delivery it opens Syncreon. Disappointing it’s gonna be DHL.

Deliberately not picking a time slot though as it only offered 11-12pm, and I've already got something coming 8.30-10.30, so hopefully it'll just get scheduled to arrive at the same time.

If you do pick an hour time slot DPD are obliged to keep to it, so they'd not let you have the any parcel earlier even if they're already making a delivery at an earlier time. Their system doesn't let the drivers scan parcels if they're not in the right proximity at the right time.

I wouldn’t count on that. I did the same thing when the 11 pro came out - purposely ordered from ASOS for the same day and chose an early delivery slot... The phone ended up being delivered by a different driver, and in the evening. I think they have different vans for the expensive parcels/those which require a signature or something like that.

You can get your DHL tracking link on the Syncreon page. Just click where it says manage delivery at the top.

So it turns out that the iPad Mini is coming via DHL now it's shipped and.... the expected delivery is MONDAY 27th.... right up to this moment it should have been tomorrow Sure, I'm disappointed at the delay, although Im more excited about the phone, but most importantly I may not get away with this surreptitious purchase!

I have had that before and it still arrived on the Friday, I am not sure why, but hopefully you do get the iPad tomorrow.

Serial numbers are random now. They changed the format a while ago.

I've never ever had an Apple DPD delivery that provides a Syncreon tracking link. Only ever UKMail (now DHL).

Syncreon hand off to DHL or Royal Mail who don't tend to provide tracking until they've actually received the parcel into their networks which is why their tracking doesn't work until later. DPD tracks as soon as a shipment is created in their systems.

So if you've got a Syncreon tracking link from Apple at this point it absolutely won't be DPD - they link direct to the DPD tracking rather than Syncreon.

Tracking page updated to “Shipped”. The tracking link takes me to Syncreon so it’s DHL for me which is disappointing as I can’t book time slots. Hope it arrives early tomorrow though!
