Which Model are you getting?

I got the from 24th.

And when you look at the website (when logged in) and select the model I bought, it states 12th October. But the person I spoke to the other day stated that it's a good sign when it says 'from' as the suggestion is there wont be a delay (beyond a few days).
I too have the FROM wording.

Thats odd having spoken several times with Sky, they are saying that from means it won't be here ON 24th. Another advisor tried saying will be 12th Oct but thats never correct!

Its got me baffled..

MM have now received my 12 Pro Max & currently going through the check process.

Hopefully MM payment will coincide well with receiving my 13 Pro Max!
I've been sat constantly checking my emails since I had their Order Received email this morning, wanting it to say 'We've paid you!'

Everytime my MacBook pings I get excited only to find out its yet another 20% off Asos email 😂

(...oh yeah there's 20% off everything on Asos until 8am if you're interested ;) )
 
For applecare+ theft and loss it works out better than the EE full cover plan right? Doing the full payment works out better too rather than monthly as you can cancel and it’s pro rata refund?

You can cancel with the monthly payments too - its like a rolling 30 day insurance plan. You can cancel any time.

Paying the full up front is a few quid cheaper I think, and yes you would get any difference back if the Applecare is cancelled and you haven't used it......although in teh past with me they have checked to ensure it hasnt been used. Not sure what they do if it has been used at all.....

I went for monthly this time....

Threw in an order for a 13 for my son (Curry’s) yesterday early evening. Changed from release day to 29th September after order went through.

Just had confirmation of delivery tomorrow.

Interesting. Mine (iPad mini) changed from Friday delivery (before I ordered) to Monday (after ordering)!

So maybe there’s a chance I’ll get it tomorrow?

@njek yes, I‘ve been charged.

Although when tracking the parcel a little while ago, I now see this. Any idea? I assume they are sending the item back to apple

In short, they don't know, lol. I was actually told there was a delay on one of the colours but not the Sierra Blue that I opted for. But again, it's all very much pinch of salt comms.

Even if you claimed for a replacement for theft / loss / damage you reckon?

Yeh I reckon so.
Although read the small print - to claim for loss or theft you are only covered if 'Find My' was active and working. You need to be able to erase and block the handset remotely before they will process any replacement. There is also a £100-odd excess to pay for any loss/theft claim.
For damage there is also an excess - cant remember the exact amounts off the top of my head though.......

I'd be shocked if I got that email this evening. But never say never. For me, it's just the logistics of getting back to the address to be there for the delivery. Would rather the sooner the better - be it this weekend or early next week. But again, no way of knowing what type of stock Sky have.

Yeah it'll be sent back to Apple now. I had this with an order at a different retailer. The package doesn't come to you in this case.

Strange.
Sometimes if the package has been damaged it gets returned straight to sender??
I wouldn't worry just yet....

EDIT : just read you cancelled!

Anyone know when John Lewis start accepting orders tomorrow? ive tweeted them but no reply. Get 3% off buying e-vouchers through work, adds up (did it for my current 11 pro max)

all their tweets saying to check online on the 24th... I'm sure there have been others on here who have ordered in the past.. assume 8 or 9am... but I couldn't say for sure.
