Sent my phone to Argos by special delivery on Friday, saw they received it at 8:30am yesterday but no updates yet.

I used the address that Royal Mail gives for them when doing post code look up through their website. I also dont think I put the order/reference number on the outside packaging but wrote it on the box inside and put the received letter in there as well.

This is what the Royal Mail site gives:

Likewize Services UK Ltd
Unit 1-2
Crewe Logistics Park
Jack Mills Way
Shavington
CREWE
CW2 5XF
I had the same as you, but they confirmed this afternoon. Your experience is completely normal!

I’m sending my 12 pro to Argos. I upgraded with EE and they wanted my old phone back but just checked with them and if I don’t send the phone back they will apply a £480 charge to my account. I have a price of £601 locked in with Argos.

We have seen lots of trade in companies doing dodgy stuff in the last few years. It is good that (so far) Argos are coming through.

There are things that they can improve (e.g. response times, sending phone with better delivery/insurance), but if they prove reliable then I would be happy to accept these for a better trade in value.

Used to be a big Mazuma fan, mostly because they are a local Watford company. Probably sold about 5 or so phones over the years, but they’ve gone massively down hill. Messing around with condition, readjusted prices, slow payouts etc. Switched to MusicMagpie the last 2 years and they’ve been great. No issues so far. Takes the stress out of trying to sell it on eBay, with idiots and the dreaded eBay fees.

Wow. I'll definitely remeber to check this site again. Ordered literally 6 minutes ago and already have a DPD tracking number...
Hey Apple, take note for next year 😂
I've been buying from Scan for years, have always had good experiences with them. Remember a few years back the first SSD I bought failed, couldn't find the receipt email and wasn't sure if it was in warranty or not. Gave them a call and they confirmed it was still covered and sent me a shipping label. Gave it to the post office in the afternoon, got an email from them around 8 the following morning confirming they'd received it, tested it and had verified it was faulty and had started the exchange process.

Noticed this on a YouTube video I just watched, apparently folks across the pond can have their Amazon orders delivered through the night. Pretty good idea here if people approved a safe place and able to get their item when they get up in the morning.

Personally the only thing they could do better is confirm they have the phone upon receipt.

I did the same, the only difference compared with the supplied address is ours lacks the BBTI Dpt portion but I doubt that will make any difference as it is going to the correct building. I posted my phone today.

After my 13 pro got stolen by DPD, and having decided on another mini - my 13 mini finally arrived today in starlight! Having had nothing but either space grey or black iPhones since the iPhone 4 this is a really nice looking device. Think the colour is very underrated and the frame is very hard to describe, but very nice.

My 12 mini can now go to my wife to replace her SE(2020) as that thing never really lived up to expectations.
