Hoping there’s someone around for this cheeky question ?

Does anyone have an EE code I could use please? .. you’ve been AWESOME in the past, thanks!

I have 4 days left until my ability to get AppleCare+ expires on my 13 mini.

Is it worth it when it’s covered under house insurance? Supposedly accidental damages and outside theft are included, so I’m not sure if in my case it’s worth getting. I also have a 2 year guarantee with John Lewis as well.

Why not take it out on the monthly payments? Then you can cancel anytime. If your unsure take it for another month while you decide.

Product Red though.

...not correct:

Hi All,

my partner signed up for the upgrade programme for the first time, collected the phone in store but hasn’t activated or taken it out the box yet. Now we realised we could have went for the additional AppleCare theft and loss.

Does anyone know how to change that if possible or what the best way would be?

Many thanks!

Just ring Apple and they’ll add it. You can either pay in full or pay monthly.

Once you activate the phone and sign into iCloud. The phone will prompt you to sign up for AppleCare in the settings - you'll have 60 days to sign up

Many thanks for your replies.

I should have clarified: my partner chose the normal AppleCare (without theft and loss) and wanted to add theft and loss. Would that also be possible?

Yes. As I said, give them a ring. I changed from the normal to the theft and loss.

Depends on your own use case scenario TBH.
I've never lost of had a phone stolen before, but I still purchased the full AppleCare with theft and loss - stuff like this always happens when least expected.
You could also get insurance with your bank.

True, but my thinking was if I were to lose my handset I just want a replacement as quickly as possible without having to go through any extra hoops with my bank - completing forms etc.....
