Great to see all the usual faces again - hope everybody is doing well! Hard to believe we're still in this thread, but hey-ho...

I'm of the belief that how quickly your battery degrades is a combination of the following:

- The battery's starting point: manufacturing tolerances and some batteries start off from a higher max capacity
- How you charge: wired vs wireless, top ups vs lots of deep charges
- How you use your phone: very light usage vs games and other intensive tasks that generate heat
- Your typical ambient environment: air conditioned offices and cars or outdoors in cold winters and warm summers

My launch day 13 Pro Max battery health has been at 99% for a few months now. I charge each night with the official 15 watt Magsafe puck plugged into a 20 watt Anker charger. I switched off optimised battery charging as I found it too unreliable, and instead plug the Anker charger into one of those digital timers set to 2 hours from 4am to 6am. Generally enough to get me back up to full charge from 60-70%. I also plug into my car's CarPlay twice on most days for around an hour in total.

Further just to add, quality of batteries also makes a difference. I think it's almost universally agreed at this point that Apple cheaped out on the iPhone 12 line of batteries. My December 2020 12 Pro Max was down to about 89% by September 2021 when I traded it in. The phone did not have a hard life as I was working from home and I generally didn't do anything or go anywhere!

The candy red looks stunning!!! Take my soul 🩸

MM still offering £635 for the 13 Pro 128Gb - great price, currently.
Yup. Ive locked prices for both my devices again using the above code.

iPhone 13 Pro 256 GB £720.00
iPhone 12 Pro 256 GB £550.00

Im hoping the prices remain the same until the end of August so I can lock them again taking me past the keynote date. MM always advertise that Extra 10% code week before keynote.

In a similar boat, i keep locking and relocking in the prices to buy myself more time for the 21 days before i need to send it off and switch to my XR Max. The one thing i have found is that the codes seem to only be applicable to your account once, so if you apply the £10 off to one order and then try and do another order with the same code it says 'you've reached your limit for this code' I guess you could always create another MM account as a way round it.

I setup four accounts last year before 13’s release. Two under mine and two under my partners name.

TBH I am thinking of selling the burner XR which would prolly make the difference up anyway. Can always get another burner when needed
Im thinking the same. Ill be getting rid of my burner and depositing that £££ back in my pocket.

Just for the sake of it listed my 13 Pro on FB Market place and already getting spammed by peeps oh will you post if i pay £20 extra. Absolutely Not.
