What are the thoughts on screen protectors this year?
Last year was the first time I purchased some (thanks to this forum) and I have been on the iPhone since the first one.
I ended up using the ESR Armorite Screen Protector and it has been great all year.
Should I stick with that brand and model again this year or are there any better options?

I tend to use the Spigen ones. Never had a problem with them - always like the application of them too.
But would also be happy to take thoughts from others on options!
 
Happy with ESR too, although I’ve seen a couple of posts referring to poor quality and a tendency for lint to get stuck round the edges. If I do upgrade I might consider a different brand. Keen to stick to one with a black frame though as an unexpected benefit was a total lack of light refraction at the edges which used to annoy me in a dark room!

The latter. Took a look earlier. Seems to be as per the rumours if accurate. Standard models staying at current prices with an increase to the Pros (with a potential lower delta between storage upgrades at 512GB and above)

...must have been a bad batch then as I know a fair few who have (and still have) had issues with lint on these.
 
Zero issues with the ESR Amorite and this is the first time I’ve used screen protectors having previously (wrongly) assumed they spoiled using the phone. I’d get the ESR again, I like the full screen coverage and the black border. I found the Spigen ones didn’t play well with polarised sunglasses

I may look for these this year then - are they good with cases?
 
I went with the regular ESR screen protectors without the notch cutout. Original one from September launch 2021 is still looking pristine with no lint or bubbling/corner lift. My wife's ESR protector from October launch 2020 only recently started lifting in a corner.

Yeah sometimes but not often, I really baby my phones. Even so I sell my phone to recycling websites yearly to upgrade and they've never been knocked down for superficial scratches.

This is the first year in a long time I won't be upgrading, only had my 13 Pro since December and the screen is 100% scratch free.

Seems to be a regular thing with ESR and bad batches. After I threw 3 in the bin on my 12PM and bought a Spigen. Received a message from ESR to apply for a refund coz it was a faulty batch

Sent my phone in today to music magpie, hopefully they receive it an value it in good time!
According to their tracking, estimated delivery day is the 26th February; I guess I'm cutting it dangerously close as the Monday is a bank holiday, so it might not valued until Tuesday, which might be crunch day :(
