Rebuy website is very poor can’t get a price to show on all browsers
Have you used these before? The prices seem really good and I’m surprised it lets you schedule a pick up so far in advance usually the prices would drop between now and then!
how much are they giving for a ip13 pro max 128gb mint I still can’t get a price

Not able to see price for these options - for mine (256gb, good condition) it works so I guess maybe the site has an issue with the like new prices?

General question here but if you order the new 14 at a larger storage, say 512GB or 1TB, do you have to wait longer than the more popular 256GB models? I mean, if you order on the 9th will you still get a week later on the 16th? (hope this makes sense?)
From memory of previous years, the 512GB and 1TB models tend to sell out quite quickly because Apple has typically produced fewer of them for launch day. The 1TB especially moved to later shipping dates very quickly.

I'm after a 512GB myself this year, so I'm gonna have to practice my finger acrobatics to get in and out of the pre-order system quickly!

been shopping burner phones and still looking at an XR to keep tucked away for the yearly upgrade gap!

anyone bought from a refurb Amazon ?

a MM 'prestine' XR (128gb) is £342 (which includes a 10% discount) and on amazon its £279 for an excellent condition 'renewed'

The amazon one is tempting me! Think I'd prefer their customer services etc. They state their excellent condition means:

Cosmetic condition: Excellent condition
- Screen: no scratches, Body: no signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) will be visible when the product is held 30 centimeters away.
Functional condition: Excellent
- Functionality: fully functional, Battery: >80% of their original battery life, Accessories: generic or OEM accessories and packaging provided, Guarantee: 1 year Amazon Renewed Guarantee.

though its not sold directly by amazon (looks to be resellers, its got an Amazon backed guarantee)

remember if you're buying with the 0% Barclays interest free, we should be able to do that in advance of the launch day again this year.

this makes the check-out process as simple as clicking on the link in the apple store and completing order... literally seconds to do once the store comes up

I never realised you could do it in advance! How does that work? You tell them the expected total cost?

just remember I'd added some notes to the first post and comments from @mrandyyu :

You supply the details of your trade in and the value is taken off your total amount. If you pass the credit checks, you're pre-approved and can have the phone sent to your home or collect from an Apple store.

Once you've taken delivery of your new phone or collected it, this triggers a pack to be sent to you to send your trade in phone. It was UPS that collected from memory and within a week, Apple had received, inspected and confirmed all was good. Only wanted the phone, so I was able to keep my 18 watt USB C charger that came with the 11 Pro Max.

what we should see pretty soon after the keynote, is the ability to do the reserve/credit agreement with Barclays via the store/app.

you follow the links which guide you through selecting your phone, colour, size, apple care etc.. the total amount is then what your credit agreement is based on. If successful, you'll see the 'reservation' on your account... IIRC it was quite prominent via the apple store app too.

then when pre-order day comes around and the store comes back online, you go into that reservation page and it will now be updated for you to go in and complete the order.. a couple of presses and that's it done!

I've used them multiple times. DPD driver collects your phone on the selected date, you just hand them the phone, they package it in front of you and hand you a copy of the shipping label and tracking number. DPD delivers it to reBuy the next day and then reBuy pays you the very next day. That's 2 days vs MM's one week turnaround time.

looking more at the "Amazon Renew Guarantee" - seems they give you a year to return it if it has issues!

what's to say you're no longer happy... just happens to be the same day you get your new 14pro!? 🤪

I also need to outright purchase my wife's phone - a 14 Pro 256GB in silver or equivalent, along with a series 8 watch for myself. For the Watch, hopefully my choice of stainless steel and common strap config means it won't be too exotic a combination that adds additional delay.

I just need to favourite the above two items and then they're ready to add to basket and checkout. Oh, and pre-add my correct payment card.

in the same position!

going to get the 14 on 0% and then use vouchers to pay for the majority of a new watch.

I'm going to do them as two separate transactions!

I've been so against the idea of an even bigger watch on my wrist, I think I've managed to make myself want one now 😂

damn those flat screen rumours! I do get the feeling though that it will be close to a £1000 mark for the 'pro'.. that should put me off!

and I guess I have been spending the past week jumping off cliffs into the sea, so a 'pro/extreme' model is clearly targeting my lifestyle (not counting the other 51 weeks of working at home!)

plumped for the amazon XR, should be here by Saturday for me to check it out properly and have time to return and find other options before my 21 days closes in!

Would love to see some close up pics of the condition. Tempted to do the same

Hi folks, I'm planning on upgrading my 12PM to a 14PM this year (committed to 2 yearly cycles as couldn't justify yearly due to there not being much between the 12 and 13 last year).

Found out that my employer offers a 20% off code for EE for new customers - contract prices with that are quite competitive compared to Apple+SIM only, and I'm looking to move away from O2 as the data on 4G and 5G has been truly terrible for me (including in Manchester city centre). The only thing that I'm not sure about is how reliable they are for launch delivery.

For those of you who've pre-ordered with EE before, are they generally good for launch day if you get in straight away?

Have you considered buying at 0% from Apple and a SIM only deal with your discount at EE?

I would not be entering into a two year contract with a phone that will likely to have an increase in over 20% next year with CPI so high.

There should be no reason why networks add the CPI+ increase on the phone part of the plan, but currently some networks don't differentiate between airtime and handset, unlike say Vodafone EVO and some o2 plans?

EE upgrades via telesales do offer device finance plans though, they just don't seem to want to tell anyone.

Still apples version is still rather expensive

not that far off the carrier prices for the phone contracts

I would still rather get it direct from Apple, I get the 20% and a £5 loyalty discount on a sim only plan with EE and always use the 0% Barclays from Apple.
