Just a heads up MM advise you not to use special delivery as their free service is fully insuredI normally pay extra for Special Delivery, rather than the normal free shipping. Special Delivery only insures up to £500, so you have to add the extra for complete coverage. At the moment RM around my area is all over the place.
Thanks, always thought they only used 1st class signed for. Now they have teamed up with Asda, I'll be using their drop off from now on anyway.Just a heads up MM advise you not to use special delivery as their free service is fully insured
It looks like just phones for now.. watches would be impressive but technically challenging! All this talk of the SMARTDrop kiosks in Asda got me wondering where my closest store is with one - turns out only a few hundred metres away!
Are they solely for dropping off phones, or could I drop my Apple Watch off at one as well? Think I'll use it for my wife's 12 Pro 256GB.
Shocking drops there - glad I locked in when i did!music magpie prices have dropped again!

Everyone sending their phones off so early - it's making me wonder if my plan for this Saturday is good enough hahaIm sending mine today even though there is a strike tomorrow but at least it will be in the system and hopefully will get done before keynote.
You can use them again now apparentlyCurrys no longer accept gift cards for mobile phone purchases. I used to use my work Edenred 8% discount for years but that's gone out the window now.
that's my thinking.. my last watch was the series 5 with its 44mm case and that was about right... not sure how I feel about going to the pro size!Went to the Apple Store to see how big the 45mm Apple Watch was ... but it might be ever so slightly on the big size... probably rules out the watch pro?
should be fine. I'll be packing mine off too once the burner arrivesEveryone sending their phones off so early - it's making me wonder if my plan for this Saturday is good enough haha
Dropped off both phones at the local delivery office to go to MM.
Have to say, since I'm now using an 11 Pro, I miss the rounded edges.
Took my 12 Pro to a MM SMARTdrop Kiosk at a local Asda earlier. Took me 2 or 3 attempts to position the phone to it’s liking as it kept saying it couldn’t read the IMEI and to re-position.
Anyway, once it worked it was literally a couple of minutes and I was paid the quoted amount on the order. Payment was by faster payments - already in my account and that even on a Sunday.
Would use again, unfortunately as we know the 13 series is currently excluded from the SMARTdrop option.
I believe it was delayed till November. That was a really long wait! Covid at it's peak time. I don't see it happening this year tho. My fingers are crossed.Hopefully we won’t have to wait until October like for the 12. That was so torturous, and even worse for those of who got the 12PM.
