I’m giving my 13P to the wife and sell her 12 with MM. That should partially find my 14P purchase - thanks for the MM tips here, will mean I get a better price for the 12 👍

The trade in price that MM are giving for the 12 is excellent, reflecting very little depreciation for the 2nd year of ownership.

my 'burner' from amazon should be with me in the next day or so.. will be interesting to see what quality it is!

I've made my mind up... will be going with a fresh install with the 14 and new watch again! (not transferring)

if the amazon refurb is no good, I might do the same with my old 12 (which the wife has).. the different in price is a little off putting

current MM price for 12P 256GB - £555 (with the £20 voucher)
locked in price for my 13P 256GB - £725

its a big enough gap for me to let her keep the 12 :D

followed suit and saved an order for my 13pro again... its only £3 less than when I locked in last week so might as well get the most of it for now!

great tip again, thanks!

anyone else think the whole satellite connectivity, whilst will important safety feature (emergency calls when no signal), its not going to be match shattering by any stretch of the imagination for most.

Yeah, it almost feels like it needs to be paired with something else for a more fully-formed solution.

Take for example if your phone was paired with CarPlay and you were in a serious crash - the accelerometers and mics on the phone picked up on the sudden change in G-forces and a loud noise - and the system calls for help regardless of where you are and what network connectivity there is.

Or you have a major fall with your Apple Watch and emergency services are contacted wherever you are. I believe the cellular watches already do this, but are reliant on having network signal.

agreed, Apple will wrap this is with some clever marketing, and the examples you give would be great to the wider ecosystem.

Apple having to 'innovate' in new areas as there is not little left they can do with the phone.. its the typical 'better camera, faster processor' incremental changes YoY otherwise.

I've not yet tired the Beta so iOS 16 will be great, also looking forward to an always on display too.

Didn't know that. Were you keeping it to yourself? 😂
To be honest I never gave it a thought

I have That many MM accounts, one booked in had run out for my 12pm last year as I was waiting for Argos to stock the ip13

so I went through my accounts and saw one in my saved account then Added it to my basket ,and checked out was paid 30 sept last year £705 12pm 128gb

Is there a benefit to dropping it off with Asda vs RM? Or vice versa?
probably one of convenience I'd say. drop off at Asda can still take 3-5 days to reach MM.

I don't have an Asda near me so Post Office it is.

if you were selling a 12 or older than the self serve kiosk seems great for instant payment! - I'd have travelled to an Asda if they accepted 13s

I normally pay extra for Special Delivery, rather than the normal free shipping. Special Delivery only insures up to £500, so you have to add the extra for complete coverage. At the moment RM around my area is all over the place.

Yeah i'd have to travel to get to an Asda too so i'll stick with the RM option in that case! I may send it off on Saturday, just a bit concerned about the RM strike next week delaying things.
