Which Model are you getting?

I am pretty impressed with the Spigen Glas-R been on since day one and no issues. 2nd is still unused in the draw

My 11 Pro Max, that I've now had for 2 years, is the first phone I used without a protector. TBH I just god fe up with them. I have micro-scratches if I look hard, but I just became less obsessed.

I agree, I think the 13 is going to be more akin to the equivalent of an S model in previous years. Less than one year since the X was released, Apple discontinued that for the XS so your right.

Possibly labelling the 13 as an 'S' model may not do it proper justice as it has hardware upgrades with the 13 cameras and smaller notch etc. plus making it marginally thicker for the bigger battery (which is a key seller). On the software side, the 120mHz Pro Motion display on the software side is a big jump for the refresh rate and will be enough for some to upgrade along with improved video etc. So maybe more of a hardware/software leap forward than the old 'S' versions. Lets see tonight! I totally get why people would wait for the 14 though, especially given those leaked renders!
I'll be re-joining the Apple Upgrade Program (missed the 12 upgrade due to lockdown), so I'll take them all lol

I've pulled the plug & ordered, mine arrives tomorrow
Did it have the 15% off voucher earlier or has that just been added?

This thread is like a comfort blanket, I come back every year even though I’m still on iPhone X..

I’m surrounded by muggles who have no interested in shiny new Apple branded things so it’s nice to virtually be amongst my own kind!

I may upgrade this year, waiting patiently to see what’s on offer 🤔

I missed the 15% voucher! It wasn't there this morning so Amazon must have just added it the cheeky blighters!

I've re-ordered again with the discount, works out at £2.40 off so only £13.59 which is a great deal.
Thanks for saving my bacon!

Fortunately, managed to cancel my first order before it was shipped! Phew! 😅

I get this one every year;

Same here I wouldn’t use any other brand had an esr one and binned it not in the same league imo

Looks legit and a reasonable price this time @jonnyb @Supersonicc (usual ESR seller)
Still tracking mine from China 😂
Can’t see one for the 13 or 13 Pro on Amazon yet? Only Max and Mini

If anyone spots an ESR Amorite for the Pro (6.1) please link!

Thanks

I got the pack of 3 last year of the ESR’s and all 3 ended up in the bin. Fair enough ESR admitted they had a dodgy batch and refunded. The Spigen Glas-R is quality and easy to fit

..what I hate about the Spigen protectors is that they have the notch cut out whereas the ones from ESR cover the whole screen.

Personally, I use the ESR ones on all my devices at home - never had any issues.

The ESR ones look like they have a black outline, is that correct? Assuming that Easy Installation Frame works as it should, the black outline sits perfectly where it should?

I dislike screen protecters with the notch cutout for those very rare times you have to speak to someone on the phone (without headphones)... It hurts your ears! Especially now with the earpiece moving to the top of the phone

I use these ESR on my iPhone 12 - these don't have a black outline :

Installation couldn't be easier - just apply the plastic guide to the phone and the protector is automatically centrally aligned correctly when placed into the guide and onto the phone's screen.

Failing that, I still find this 'hinge' method THE best way to apply protectors :

;)

Armorite is the new version introduced earlier this year and they have the outline. Apparently it’s much tougher than the standard version many of us are used to (also available for new iPhones, with a camera cutout - see below)

Going to be an expensive 2 weeks Sonos beam atmos gen 2 ordered today 13 pro max gen 7 watch all incoming agh well no pockets in shrouds

Sonos Beam is the nuts, I had an Arc but it was way too loud for my living room space so swapped for a Beam. I paired the Beam with 2 One SL's, but looking at 2 One's too for the fronts and the Sub Gen 3 for full 5.1. I've also got my eye on the Gen 7 watch to replace my Gen 5 and likely a new iPad in October depending on what Apple launch, the alleged new iPad Mini looks cool.

Wallet is gonna take a full battering!!
