Bought a few things using that. Works well, came in handy and 0% interest.Amazon do also offer the ability to spread the cost out without interest. It can be spread over 5 payments.

I wonder how they do this financially.. it’s not a loan, but it’s a some sort of riskBought a few things using that. Works well, came in handy and 0% interest.
Thought the same tbh. Yeah it's not a loan, so no checks other than how long you have been a Amazon Prime subscriber.I wonder how they do this financially.. it’s not a loan, but it’s a some sort of risk
Hmmmm 🤔Thread?
Which iPhone 14 Model are you planning on buying?
I guess it’s some custom instalment plan that’s decided on custom non credit parametersThought the same tbh. Yeah it's not a loan, so no checks other than how long you have been an Amazon Prime subscriber.
It was before via the app mine says ready to upgrade.IUP was never pre-approval or didn‘t think so
It's defiantly an Amazon hidden gem. Seems only available on certain tech items, which have to be sold by Amazon, rather marketplace, and I haven't found a way of searching for items which have 5 payments on them.I guess it’s some custom instalment plan that’s decided on custom non credit parameters
argh right thought it was just the iPhone payments coz don’t you still have to go in store for IUP’sIt was before via the app mine says ready to upgrade.

No, but you can use your Amazon balance to purchase an Apple gift cardDoes Amazon do pre-orders? I have a £20 voucher which I need to use soon...
People saying Amazon don’t do pre orders for iPhonesI thought they always put the iPhones live at the same time as Apple it just says delivers on the release date. So still technically a pre order when you order a week in advance.
When they did the price cock up that was on the same day pre orders went live so people ordered from both sites.
I’ll be ordering the phone for a store pickup, generally can get a good chance of launch day stock. Last year they even had same day stock about 45 mins or more.
I’ll be taking my friend who I’ve converted to Apple with me as I don’t think he’s ever seen a launch day event.
Just not like they used to be! All of this picking a time slot has thrown the whole queuing up at 4am and it being a bit of a lottery!
Damn you apple for making things more efficient
Ah yes, true… tbh I can’t remember![]()

Just had a look back to see if I am off my rocker but Amazon pre orders go live at 1PM same as Apple. Seeing everyone saying they don’t do pre orders was making think I was crazyI think it’s just John Lewis that doesn’t do pre orders unless you count 1 day before.
maybe I’m lucky? I do hope it’s not because I’ll become an Amazonian…Ah so Amazon do cherry pick the offer for customers.
“To be eligible for this offer to pay using an instalment plan, you must reside in the United Kingdom, your Amazon.co.uk account must have been active for at least one year, you must have a valid credit card associated with your Amazon.co.uk account, and you must have a good payment history on Amazon.co.uk. This offer may not be available to every customer and may not be available to you for all qualifying products.
