I can get 20% EE discount through work but the problem is that its for new customers only. I'm currently on a 20% off deal with apple music which expires in November but I'm no longer a student. The new EE tariffs are pretty hefty this year. If you could possibly spare me a code I would be most grateful, cheers :)

Have you tried applying one when upgrading, codes can only usually be used at the time of upgrade or for new customers.

Lucky Number 13!

Hey Sal09 in the UK iPhone 14 thread you mentioned:

“Tbh i loose more money by not upgrading every year.”

Can you please elaborate more on why its better off (money wise) upgrading every year then 2 or 3 years.

Just being curious.

On EE iPhone 13 Pro 256 GB costing me £1090.00. I sold the device for £735.00. Only costing me £355.00 for 12 months ownership.

I have price saved for my partner's 12 Pro 256 GB (2 years old) at £555.00. If i had decided not to upgrade i would have paid £535.00 (using 12 Pro 256 GB trade in value as estimate).

Random question but would guys & gals recommend Voxi as a good MVNO?

I just left EE for Voxi and it is basically Vodafone PAYG! All 30 day contracts. But the plan you sign up for remains until you change it. The carrier on the phone even shows Vodafone U.K. they don’t even bother to rebrand that as Voxi. The customer care has been really good just message them through the website or Facebook Messenger.

Makes sense! Great pic!!

But its a tough one, you would have to pay £535 after 2 years if you had held on to your 12 Pro but then again you would have got another year out of it. (Not saying you are right/wrong, just playing devil's advocate. I am just thinking how to minimise losses). If yearly is the way to go then I might consider it too...

I’d say if you get the iPhone 14 and only plan on using the, with that, then go for it. Most of the Bluetooth upgrades require newer hardware.
my current pro's are fine.. though have owned since launch (did have apple swap out due to crackling issues)

I‘m battling iOS to write coherent text, thus the source of the 1 hour slut…

how are the batteries on them?
not had any noticeable battery issues... I have the belkin 3in1 charger, so the AirPods get plonked onto the stand at the end of the day and charge up.
