Which Model are you getting?

Glad I convinced myself I didn’t want the Pro Watch when it was rumoured, that thing looks hideous.

Think we’ll maybe have three models next year
Series 9: Same design as we have currently, just on the cheaper side.
Series X: The heavily rumoured flat edged and flush screen watch we’ve seen around for a few months.
Pro Model: Slight improvement from this years Pro model.
yes, you'd think they would save a major change to the form factor for the 10th anniversary watch!

so if the Pro is just too big, it will be a case of getting the S8 SS and keep for 2 years

I have a work phone this time round. Last year I got a burner from Amazon and returned it.
Does amazon have a similar warranty like apple with returns? no questions asked. and do you get the refurbished ones from third party sellers or brand new? Thing is I don't want to end up with a phone open it and use it and be told I. cannot return it anymore...

ESIM implementation is so good in iOS 16 just a shame that none of the U.K. operators will use Apples method of sim transfer.

I was able to transfer with an EE eSIM between two iPhones running iOS 16

iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB sold privately last night for £700 bank transferred to me nice and simples

Now to ring Barclays and Apple to pay off the loan and cancel apple care

2 more days!
good price to get!

ah, if only apple had kept to their usual Tuesday for the event and we'd have been a mere 25.5 hours off the event! :(

Amazon have their normal returns policy. So you can return no questions asked, you do have to go through a call/online chat with them before they let you return it as they want to make sure you remove activation lock from the device.

OMG!!! I thought the announcement was tomorrow because its Tuesday! That's going to be a downer on my mood. I just bought a Solo Stove fire fit in the meantime to keep me occupied!

It is, but it’s also the software. Garmin isn’t brilliant but it’s better than Apple - at least with Garmin it’s all in one app - with iOS some is in health and some is in fitness (and in fitness it takes a while for workouts to show - although that will change with iOS16).

I do about 20 hours of swim, bike or run most weeks and there’s no way I could use just an Apple watch so I‘ve always used Garmin too. Battery is vital too, me and about 2,000 other - largely Garmin wearing - people are doing Ironman Wales this Sunday (and because of that I‘d have actually preferred the announcement to be next week) and it’ll take about 12 hours - there’s no way to do that with an Apple Watch but it won’t use half of the Garmin battery. The rumoured Pro will need at least double the current battery to make it worth thinking about for me.
yep, battery life is so important it's not just about the durability of the watch when the normal watch can last just as a long. Just stick it in a case if you need it to be more durable instead of spending upwards on a grand on the pro model if there aren't any real benefits..

The Watch "Pro" model is likely to be too big for my wrist, so that's a no go - and if the upgrade to the 8 is just a temperature sensor.. I'll get that S7

those the ones that look like a washing machine drum?

let me know how they are!

A cousin recently bought a Ooni pizza oven and they were great too for summer evenings!

what prices you seeing for the 7? If I go non pro, it looks like it will be a graphite stainless steel (if not black option). that with the leather strap seems to be £699 from Apple atm. (can get a hefty 2% off too 🤣)
