iPhone 13 UK iPhone 13/13 mini/13 Pro/13 Pro Max Pre-release, Orders and Dispatch Thread

I missed the keynote, as I was working.
However, having had a quick look at the specs of the new 13 Pro Max on the Apple website, I’m pretty much underwhelmed. I’ll obviously do some more research over the next couple of days but at the moment it looks like this will be a skip year for me.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but the 12 Pro Max is now looks to be unavailable to buy directly on Apple Store, its just the 12 and 12 Mini left available as part of the 12 range.

Apple do appear to have done what they did with the X and turn the 12PM into a 'legacy' phone within the year.

Let's hope MM still accept mine next week!!

Definitely going for Sierra Blue for my 13 Pro Max, that colour looks professional but also new / cool.

Decisions on Apple cases now. My shortlist is:

• Abyss Blue or Jay Blue in Silicone
• Sequoia Green in Leather

Thinking that green leather could be the one as its dark and military looking and will have a decent contrast against the light blue.

One thing I realised with the 12 mini 64Gb being retained, at £579; Currys PCWorld and Argos were already discounting it at that price through their websites. One would like to think that they'll do a similar discount to the new price - £499, perhaps? That would definitely be worth it.

Well I'm locked in for 21 days at £740 with my 256GB 12 Pro Max so hopefully should be ok with MM!
I'd have to flog for over £800+ on eBay to make it worthwhile.

I'm actually curious to see what 12 Pro Max prices do now considering they're now unavailable on the Apple Store.

I‘m going to give the new iphone a miss this year, also going to stick with my AW5 and AW6. While I’d have loved to have replaced them with new versions, me personally I wouldn’t be getting much from that.

I sold my 12 mini and have been using my daughters 11 pro max for the last month, I am giving her that back and will be scouring eBay the weekend after everyone gets their new models for any second hand bargains.

Yeah I know, eBay has them stupid 10% selling fees, just put it on gumtree and see what feedback you get. Also, it’s worth mentioning that eBay gets loads more clicks and sometimes you can sell the item outside side the auction, if you know what I mean

I've just noticed, the AppleCare now comes with an option for AppleCare+ with theft and loss. Previously I thought that was only an option in the US.

Yea, that’s what I’m getting too but not sure if I progress through to the checkout whether it will actually process the loan payoff or not ( I want to see what all the payment figures are first before I confirm an order!). …?

Hmm - the app does say that Pre-Orders start at 1pm on 17th Sept so I guess there won’t be any payments confirmed until then…!

I'm going to decline the offer and have just paid off my 12 Pro Max in full with Barclays.

I want to bring my 13 Pro Max monthly payments right down - would actually be less per month than the 12 Pro Max with the trade in and £50 lower RRP factored in.

For the first time in a long time I am thinking standard Pro. As far as I can see the specs are the same for the 2 pro models. Usually better camera & video specs on the Max. Only difference is screen size and battery. Both of which I can get round. Would make it feel like a proper new device too. And if I get another colour than Black/Graphite or whatever that would add to the feeling. For me anyways.

I think I might go down to the regular pro from the 12 pro max. The pro max was great in terms of screen size and battery but it’s heavy phone. Plus it seems like the cameras are exactly the same this year

I've also just seen that the Apple trade in price for my 12PM 256GB is £540, which is only £20 less than Music Magpie are offering.

Snap buddy, that is exactly what I am going for!
With my 12 Pro Max I only used 100GB of my 256GB as I've got 2TB iCloud, Google One & DropBox so I don't need anything more than 128GB.

This year I'm hoping it will be a smooth pre-order but you can never tell.
I think a lot of people may not upgrade from the 12 this year so expecting a more straightforward F5 panic at Friday 1pm!

Pre-order on the App Store you should be fine for launch day delivery.

I don't understand why they haven't made a blue case for the gem that is the Sierra Blue iPhone. No case seems to match well with this color...
