surprised seeing more pro max votes than the pro so far!

I think the MacRumors crowd are a lot more likely to be into their tech than the general population so are likely to gravitate towards the pros. As long as the size of the max isn’t an issue, then the small extra outlay for a bigger screen and a much bigger battery makes it a bit of a no brainier, hence why skewed that way.

Cases; I usually end up buying far too many. Always get the Apple Leather case but also like a super thin case, a leather wallet case and a Caudabe one.

What about you lot? How many do you get and which ones?

Same here with the over the top case buying. Last year was two apple leather and an apple silicone, then a torras clear (tried loads of thin clear cases and find their crystal clear ones feel the nicest in my hand) then a UAG Pylo for when I want something more robust. Ended up either using the Torras (cheapest of the bunch) or one of the leather ones when I wanted to use my MagSafe wallet. We’ll over £100 of cases have gone practically unused. This year I’ll limit it to two at most.

Indeed.. I’ve tried to give the max a chance over the years but it’s a beast.. especially when in a case too.

Thought the weight increase might have put people off.. but no! You’re all diehards

I’m definitely out from getting the S7 soo will keep my S5 titanium one more year. Still in perfect nick and all day battery so no compelling reason to change.

for a more substantial change next year.

We’ll save a few quid too which can help bump up the 14” MBP spec in the coming months

Do you not get a notification in the top right saying ‘so and so has replied to the thread’ ?

it’s only for the latest post after your last so if you click that it takes you to there

and then it still pops up to your last read post afterwards

finally settled on the Abyss Blue silicon case to go with the Sierra Blue Pro, case comes Monday!

will be good to see some pictures from people who receive the blue jay colour.. just felt the darker contrast with the abyss worked better for me.

I’ve done the same, my Abyss Blue silicone arrives Monday too! Darker blue looks the best match.

Sequoia Green is great but a colour clash imo with the Sierra Blue.

Decided on the one main daily case this year instead of buying multiple! I didn’t have patience to wait for Amazon Apple cases on launch day.

This year I would like a luxury high-end third party brown leather case for non-daily use, will wait & see what comes out.

Wow, that increase in performance is not small fry! The extra core in the GPU must be really helping the boost & will assist with Pro Res video etc. I’m impressed!

Google with its new Tensor chip in the new Pixel 6 range will have its work cut out to come close to the 13.

I currently have blue 12 128gb and at the moment seeing no need/want to upgrade. Will wait to see them in person to see if I feel any different.

I can’t decide whether to use the Barclays finance or whether to buy outright so I’ve now got 2 pre orders saved, one for each. Having just applied for the finance, I added apple care on and noticed that was added on to the finance (I did not expect that). If I wanted to pay off the loan in a year then I’m guessing I would need to pay off all of the apple care too so would I end up paying for 2 years of apple care but only actually using 1? seems a bit strange…

I tend to buy my phones outright and stay away from loans - but then considering its 0%, this year I'm very tempted! Can't decide which to go for!!!

I'm all setup for a Graphite iPhone 13 Pro 256GB with apple care about a 51 quid monthly payment for 2 years... its interest free so i'm not sure there's much risk to it from my perspective, i'd rather have the 1300 in my own pocket for 2 years than someone elses!

Upgrading from an original iphone X so looking forward to this.
