Have been debating since the event whether to stick with iUp or switch to 24 months, now I have decided to go 24 months and the website/app will no longer let you pre pre order. Typical!

This thread feels like coming to an old home!

have followed with interest since the announcement. Was going to go 24 monthly payments, but then thought - I’m going to Apple for a mortgage relatively soon - does anyone know / have any ideas whether the loan will cause an issue? Have an otherwise excellent credit rating.
When we were getting our mortgage we were advised to have no new loans/credit applications in, at least, the last 6 months. Like others have said, it's possible it won't have any real impact but at the end of the day it's the underwriter who is looking at your mortgage application who will decide that.

Hey

anyone getting similar when trying to “get ready for pre order”
I am out of the U.K. at the moment data roaming wondering if that’s doing something funny?

Stuck in this loop can’t go any further. 2E7E9987-997D-40E0-9FFE-E05D064D8D1D.png8C61FD6E-6FB3-4D1F-9131-E830FDFF8AA9.png

Music Magpie have offered me £550 with their code adding £30, for my iPhone 12 Pro 256GB.

Thoughts? There will be £90 leftover on my loan to pay.

I’ll be posting mine out on Monday and use an old 7+ until Friday, can’t risk of missing out on that £740 quote

Also I think I read in their T&C that priced is locked in for 21 days from the day of the order but they have to check it out in 21 days, not just receive it, so need to consider 1/2 days after reception for them to check it I guess
Unfortunately I don;t have a spare device, I am also on an eSIM so will need by phone nearby to receive an activation text from EE. MM have told me as long as it arrives within the 21 days that is fine.

For comparison - I sold my 11 Pro Max 256GB to MM for £500, including the voucher.
Sending it off next few days while I use a 8Plus for now.

Can’t see any option for pre ordering iPhone 13 Max Pro with iUP? I’ve been on thei iUP for years and all been fine. Says my 12 Pro eligible for upgrade but then doesn’t give me any options it just says go into a shop?

Panic over, I have just "bought" the same phone I currently have on Amazon with pay in 5 monthly installments - will arrive tomorrow by 1pm.

I can then move all my stuff to the new device and send mine off to Music Magpie. Once the new phone arrives I will return the phone to Amazon. (Don’t be trolling its not the 13 I’m doing it with!!!)

yes, you can't sign up to IUP on line n the UK.. what you can do on Friday 1pm is reserve a device and then go into store and sign up to IUP...

but its looks like apple are moving away from IUP and offer the same option really with their 24 month 0%. then in one year they will let you trade in your phone and use it to off set any balance remaining.

Just as a note I’m running iOS 15 Release Candidate which isn’t much different to iOS14 really. Hope the hardware is a decent upgrade to notice the difference!!!!
