I thought that too, but Barclays are adamant that's NOT the issue 🤷🏼‍♂️

All they will tell me is that "I don't fulfill their lending criteria", to which I replied, a high income homeowner with a perfect credit history and virtually no debt? They just went quiet and said they can't and don't have to give me a reason 🤷🏼‍♂️

if it helps I got accepted when i broke student with a £4K overdraft

but consistently get rejected now that I'm financially better off with no overdraft

I haven't used the leather ones since the XR - how do the corners hold up with the patina?

Oh - I was hoping you wouldn't say that lol!!!! Given is done on finance and is all approved - why wouldn't mine have gone straight to processing also!!!! Most stressful order process since original iPhone this! don't need any more stress hahaha!!!

Ordered the 14 Pro Max Space Black earlier today, managed to get it done at about 13:30. I was ready at work with my phone on the Apple Store app, went on at bang on 1pm and the store wasn't "ready" for a few more minutes. When I finally got on about 2 minutes later, I saw my pre-order and went to complete. It refused to take my address details, claiming there was an error. I repeated this over and over again for 25 minutes as I watched the delivery date change from September 16th to being further and further away.

Eventually, I went to apple.com in Safari and after signing into the website and being signed out again several times, it let me complete the purchase. Now I have a delivery date of between 03-10th October.

Pretty frustrating as I was set up as best I could at work but they Apple Store app was just broken.

Yeah give it a go this evening. I'm pretty sure that you have a couple of days at least to sort the payment without the order being cancelled or you losing your delivery date.

I finally got my payment through. Stopped trying for an hour or so as had to get child from school, then tried again, and finally the verification box for one of my cards popped up (a different one to the card that failed earlier). Confirmed in the banking app for that card, and it seed ok at first, but then got denied again, got a text from the CC company, and replied Y that it was me, and then tried again, and this time all went through

Also, one of the 2 orders for the case that went through using the same apple gift card also went to issue with payment (as to be expected), and I was then able to cancel that order (leaving the other to hopefully go through ok).

But what a nightmare it's been this year, I am still on a iPhone X, so haven't upgraded for myself for 5 years, but I did do the order for my wife's 13 pro last year and had no issues at all.
