How does that even work? The quality of the call is variable whether I'm connected to Wifi or not, of course, it depends on the other party?

Got my order in (slightly later than I’d have liked at 13:04, but was distracted by work).

HSBC decided to not put a stop on the transaction (despite doing it on Apple Pay 🤷🏻‍♂️), so have had to call their fraud department and sort it out. Thankfully it doesn’t appear to have affected launch day delivery status.

It’s nice to be back here again. Will try and catch up on the 100+ pages now there’s no Premier League this weekend.

You can enable WiFi calling in settings, I have been using it for years in my house as signal isn't great and it has been fantastic.

It looks like it's still available as a Smart Benefit, but the iPhone plans I can see have either Apple One or a Smart Benefit not both.

Slightly off topic (pls forgive me!) but my AirPods Pro 2 order is in Processing with delivery for 23rd. An active card check was done when I ordered, by no money taken. When should I expect the funds to depart my account?

WiFi Calling just connects your end of the call over WiFi instead of cellular. An iPhone will show the network name on the top left of the screen as "EE WiFiCall" if you're using it. If not it may be worth setting it up.

Ordered the Iphone PM 256gb in Gold at 13:03 (already preparing to ship) and iPods Pro 2. Kept refreshing the Apple Store on my iPhone/iPad and the phone got through ages before the iPad.

Ordered the phone first with my Barclays CC because my HSBC bank hates me making large purchases, they always get declined for fraud. I then tried to order the AirPods with the CC but it said there was an error so used Apple Pay and it went through.

Role on next week. My puppy can go out for her first walk on Thursday and I get my phone on Friday. I received the elderberry case today and it is beaut.
