Hi guys - I have a weird situation and I was wondering if you have experienced this before. I called Apple but they had literally no idea which is frustrating!

I was ready to pre order today at 1pm and while I was doing the pre order I chose initially the pick up option in Stratford and also the option to give my current iPhone (iPhone 12 pro max) in store to complete the trade in process.

However, the whole order defaulted for some reason into shipping to my home rather than picking up at the Apple store which isn’t a big issue.

The problem is that when I check my order within the trade in details it shows that the trading kit is getting shipped under my name to the Apple store address. What does that mean? Does it mean that I still need to bring my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the Apple store to complete the trade in process or will the Apple store receive the trade in kit? If the latter, will the call me or something to pick up the trading kit from the Apple store 😂. Seems very strange to me!

Also my local store.

I think that is true, but wait for the box. If it doesn’t arrive, get Apple to send you one to your home address.

Electric is the way forward, I tested loads and the Tesla is way ahead of the competition, other do some bits better but as a complete package Tesla wins hands down. The fact who’s company something is should be irrelevant just buy the best product.

Another year…. Another iPhone.

Purchased iPhone 14 Pro Max 256Gb deep purple from EE, £70 a month with upfront fee waived and unlimited (have 20% perks discount). Happy enough, makes it around £15 a month for contract service if I subtract iPhone retail cost.

Got my email confirmation at 13:07 so should come on 16th. Then like every year, my wife will take my iPhone 13 Pro 256Gb…. Can’t wait for next year to do it all over again 😅

Also in my experience whilst cool Teslas are poorly built and rattle like a cheap car . Also they don’t support CarPlay

I drive a full EV. Had no problems with long journeys tbh

Yeah my milage is tiny, < 6000 pa. Yes Agee with Tesla build quality though I hear they’ve made improvement. The taycan or etron GT7 are eye catching but wow they’re pricey
 
Didn't manage to order an iPhone first time since the iPhone 7 i haven't got one reserved for release day due to the app glitching

Whats the likelyhood they have 14 Pro Max's in stock at Apple stores on release day, planning on getting there at 7am and hopefully should get one

As you can imagine i am very annoyed

also did anyone have any success getting an iPhone 13 Pro instore on release day without a reservation?

Both stunning cars!! If it’s performance the etron GT is fantastic.

Most common cars I see with issues from talking to customers is Teslas by miles
 
I ended up going via Amazon for the Pro in Silver. Think I got my order in within 2mins of them putting it up so hopefully comes on the 16th.

I’m in Europe until the 18th and MusicMagpie are expecting my 13Pro in the next 6 days which won’t happen so hoping them give me another week or so extension.

Out of interest, what time did Amazon go live? Was it also 1pm?
 
Apple.com/uk order status now on "Prepraring to ship". This is for the iPhone 14 Pro Max 512GB Deep Purple.
