I ordered the Ultra watch, I run a lot (marathons, half marathons, 10K and 5K distances) also do some hiking and swimming. The regular watch is more than suitable for this, but I’m super excited for the Ultra watch.For those of you planning on setting up as new, does Fitness/Health data sync over iCloud? I’m wanting to start fresh as have been carrying around the same backup since 2007 and noticing some bugs/battery drain I hope will be fixed by starting again, but really don’t want to lose Apple Watch fitness and health data.
Also, who here is ordering an Ultra watch without being very… “ultra” themselves?I have to say it’s a bit tempting, although think I’ll be sticking with my Series 6 until next year.

Just got my ESR iPhone 14 Pro clear tpu case. Quite a nice feel and dosent appear bulky. Also a lot more cost effective vs the apple cases I got earlier this morning

I've been restoring from backup since the 5 so not much later than you.Couldn't bring myself to set up as new, I'm a natural hoarder and have been carrying backups with me since iPhone 4

Yeah all my health data syncs fine. If you’re worried, take a backup to revert back to in case you have issues
Unfortunately not on this side of the pond. Phones won’t move for a few days yet.
Rough timeline of ‘tracking day’ which should be Thursday next week, based in previous years. The below was a summary from 2021 and was similar last year.
8.30am - first DPD app notifications of delivery but nothing from Apple and no updates on order
12.00pm - apple order status pages went a bit wonky and not available (ensue panic)
12.37pm - order pages available again, panic over, the world is good again... expect still no updates on orders
12.40pm - first confirmed Apple.com order update as shipped - Syncreon tracking on order page... let the post carnage begin! with this tracking people could see if they got UKmail too (no early notification from them)
4.40pm - DHL/UKMail texts went out with tracking working
5.41pm - the annual 'Why is my phone in Newcastle?' post when its just down the road near Hinkley (https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ers-and-dispatch-thread.2251576/post-29089512)
6.30pm - typo by someone asking if DPD provide 1 hour sluts for their deliveries! 😂 😂 🤣
7.15pm - my instore collection status changed to ready to collect. people getting notification of 'ready to collect'
7.47pm - more dispatch emails sent out from apple.
