Excellent! Apart from anything else, the screen going out when you leave the room could protect you from your wife seeing notification of unexpected purchases.
just realised, with all the use of 'perks at work' and the cash back, I've got about £200 owed to me... that covers more than the cost of the new pods
Ah good ol' 'man maths' - exactly what I used, back in October 2020 to explain to my wife why we needed a brand new car rather than a second hand one:
"but 'insert cute wife nickname of your choice', we'll save X amount of money not having to do repairs and MOTs etc., that more than enough to cover the cost of this brand new BMW"
She 100% saw through my nonsense but BELIEVE IT OR NOT she actually let me do it lol

EVERYONE!!! You would not believe it but my 14 PM (Space Black) which was ordered late due to the issues on the Apple Store has updated to 'Delivers by 16 Sep' - Original date was 3rd - 10th October. I am shocked!!! Has anyone else's moved? This week has just become so much more bearable

You can’t get a refund on gift cards if you apply the codes to your account to try and buy something. Also remember most are getting the gift cards through Perks at Work etc. and not directly from Currys iirc.

I finally placed my order around 13:34 and unfortunately I had to complete a new Barclay's Finance Application. However, I will be contacting Apple to arrange for the first credit check to be removed. I only want the one hard search associated to the order, not two. Hope that helps mate.
Hmm, but other screen protectors don’t have it? Can’t see the benefit of the notch except to expose a small bit of the screen to potential scratches.
