No I haven't! Still hoping, luckily my order on amazon has changed to "Not Yet Dispatched" which means they allocated a stock for me I guess but still doesn't say estimated delivery date.

This has me worried since mine hasn’t change from “pending”…

You guys sure do move , it’s taken me an hour to catch up on these posts 🤣

So I did a little more digging today regarding the transfer Of an Esim, as far as I can see EE is pretty straight forward using their app, but they also now support smart setup providing both phones are up to date on the latest software. This means I’ve had to upgrade my iPhone 12 to ios16 ready for the transfer.

From what I’ve read when your going through the set up process with your old phone next to it, it will ask if you wish to transfer your Esim.

Sounds simple.. hoping it goes as smooth as it sounds on Friday

What Mesh you using bud? My ASUS ZenWifi AX setup has been faultless. After all the Apple "investment" you have undertaken, you might not be in the market for a new Mesh, but would thoroughly recommend when you do. (have Q with second mini box and Gigabit net from Sky - £112 for full package less MUTV type cvhannels and BT sport)

I went a bit nest crazy when I bought my new place a few years ago. Have the nest wifi with 2 additional access points. Works reasonably well but went a bit pear shaped when setting up the sky q minis. The nest is pretty dumbed down, can’t even select your own channel… similar with sky the mesh sky q uses for the mini network, both clashed on the same channel and frequency. Luckily managed to find hidden settings on the sky to change it so things improved.

Was ready to go all in with 6E wifi and get https://www.netgear.com/uk/home/wifi/mesh/rbke963b/ but coming in at £1500 is painful!

Ironically spending that amount on a mobile phone is less of an issue

I don't think that you HAVE to upgrade. eSIM transfer was supported on iOS 15 as well. EE will just tell you a generic "latest software" to be on the safe side.

Someone might come along and correct me but I thought we were looking at Saturday deliveries potentially with Amazon. That was certainly the case for me with the 12 Pro and seem to recall a flurry of Amazon charges and dispatch emails on launch days past amongst other people’s unboxings. Hopefully that’s not the case though.

Yeah thought so too but without trawling through last years thread, I couldn’t be sure.

this thread is always top whenever i come onto macrumours 😂

anyways when do EE launch day people get their tracking codes or an update? i haven’t had anything since order confirmation.

Annoyingly, I had an old email address (that I no longer have access to) set up in the shipping details section of the Apple Store app, meaning I never received my order confirmation. From past years, I believe I will be able to access my tracking number directly through the Apple Store app, is that correct?

Yep, you’ll have a link off the order once available

Typically you will not receive anything until they hand over to DPD. DPD will text / email you. Then EE will also email you about it.

After not being on this thread when the iPhone 13 came out I forgot how much I missed everyone’s excitement and all these updates on orders/tracking.

Promise I’ll upgrade again next year and do this all over again with you all.

None of us really care about the upgrades honestly, we’re all just hear for the camaraderie!

The Steam Deck is an awesome device. I’ve had mine for about five months now and I love it.
It'll be very cool for gaming on the go. I travel a few times a year and I can use it to connect to a TV and play. Too bad Apple keep pushing Arcade. I don't think it's working for them...

Probably will be quite unpopular here, but I think my Steam Deck will arrive before the iPhone. Already in transit now
Don’t really get the USP of the Steam Deck. Thing is massive so not ultra portable really...sure it’ll come in handy if you’re going on holiday (or at work) but why would you want to play games instead there.

Saying that it’s a nice bit of tech but really would rather game on a console, gaming PC or if I really needed a portable, a gaming laptop or small handheld like the Switch.

I’m looking forward to coming in here on Friday and just seeing absolute carnage with peoples delivery times/delays and complaints in all honesty.
