Well it looks like I will have a bit longer to choose a case. None of the colours I was looking at are available Friday! Normally I choose one when I pick up my phone from the store. Not this year!

It is possible to transfer the eSIM without a restore of the backup right?

I spoke to tech support at ee and they told me our esims will transfer during setup. There will be an option to move esim from old to new - they will just need to be next to each other.

Even if you do iCloud restore the eSIM will come across. I am on a different device now and when I click Add eSIM it asks me do I want to transfer a sim from another device. If you still have your phone with the Ee eSIM on then it will just move over as long as both on iOS 16.

Appreciate the information, thank you! May set up as new if it’s that easy to transfer the eSIM now 😊 I remember the days you had to go into EE and ask for a QR code after proving your identity haha

Whilst MM are a legit company the frustration comes in the long unwarranted delays in their own delivery pipeline which, for some reason, they seem to make the customers responsibility. Nine days since posting the phone using their 48Hr Royal Mail delivery service and still no scan of it at the warehouse, even though it was marked as delivered 4 days ago. When I contacted them asking them to extend my 21 day Price Promise due to the fact there was a delay at their end they said it wasn’t possible, which seemed somewhat inflexible.
That really sucks. I hope you get your payment soon!

I think they’re just overwhelmed as they’ve received a ton of phones just prior to the new iPhone announcement and also subsequent to it (not that’s an excuse as they should have anticipated it). I used them around a month ago to sell my old iPhone early to maximise how much I got and it was processed 1 working day after Royal Mail said it had been “delivered”.

they used to at least? Maybe things have changed since Covid
I wish I’d have known this years ago. I held off buying them for so long until a friend finally let me try theirs haha.

I’m curious what they did with the ear tips? I’m assuming they discard each pair afterwards but that sounds like it would get expensive
