I’m going to chance John Lewis tomorrow too. Hopefully they go live online at midnight.

I ‘think’ they tend to be 8am on the day.. worth a try!

Remember the 6am times too to check for apple stores.. use the standard order journey and iup one too in case

Off topic (slightly)… Londoners… how is the city with crowds?

I’m heading over tomorrow for the weekend (it’s been planned and booked since April 🙄) and I am dreading it.

Picking my phone up at regent street in the morning
Last pickup I did was for the 12 Pro and it was crazy busy. It was also during peak COVID season, so there was a long queue set up outside the Regent Street store.

However, it didn’t take that long to actually get inside. They’ve done many launches and have it well organised!

Stay hydrated and fed, and try to enjoy the buzzing atmosphere!

Obviously the area around Westminster will be the busiest, but other parts of central London will be affected too, with road closures. Keep an eye on Transport for London's website for updates.

I’m glad I’m having mine delivered to home. I’ll be nesting in comfort for the whole long weekend!

Feel a bit left out of the fun as I have mine scheduled for pick up tomorrow from Apple - think I have the first slot, a 9:15-9:30am for my local store, so only 22 hours or so to go until it’s new phone time!

Most Apple stores will open at 8am tomorrow. I am scheduled for 8.15.

....so no annual photo of the Bromley store from you then this year. :(

.....you must literally be round the corner from me - I'm down in Lower Thames Street.

I can see the end of the queue (for the Queen) from my building (The Halkin) as we have a balcony overlooking the Thames (HMS Belfast is in clear site!).

Office is old broad street so nearer to Liverpool st

Remind me, when should we expect movement on Apple Store orders?
We then have to track via syncreon iirc? Then DPD/DHL later?

How long does the iPhone-to-iPhone quick start transfer roughly take? I've used 62GB of data on my 128GB phone and I'm planning on doing that in the Apple store before I give my current phone back on the iUP programme.

Ah of course... I was looking at the standard opening hours. Must've been too slow to get an 8am appointment (which would have been preferable) - I suppose there's little point in showing up before my slot?

Well previously we’d already had people getting DPD notifications by now… that’s not happened this time around.

It was in the next couple of hours the statuses started to change on apple.com too

Won’t be long now

Still no movement on my curry’s order. Does anyone know how long it take them to refund the money? I might cancel and go for John Lewis.
Same here! I shall try John Lewis tomorrow if no update and you can call them or live chat to cancel order.

Anyone had anything from Currys yet?
