The woman told me that no one would have updates till tomorow… so lied to me grrrrrrrrr

I told her on the site if I select 256GB it says 16th but she said on her end it will be 4 week delay :/

DHL have been fine for the last few years but I do prefer
DPD and the fact that you can track from when they receive the order instruction from the seller!!

So pissed off lol, what’s the point on having preorder date and -recording on said date as early as possible just to be told it could be a 4 week delay… Guess I will miss my trade in slot and lose value on current handset grrrrr

Cheers. Had an absolute nightmare with voxi and pac codes last time so transferred back out pretty quick but could have been tempted with u/lim data.

Probs going with ID Mobile/Smarty this time. The deals at the moment are unbelievably good for loads of MVNO’s

My Apple 'Dispatch Notification' emails came through at 1147 and 1153AM, in the same order I bought them & roughly the same interval.

Clicking on both takes me through to DPD which I'm delighted with, though we do get excellent service locally from both DPD and DHL (and UPS, but they don't seem to play on Launch Day anymore).

New to the forum (followed the site for years). I upgraded through Vodafone but had issues where the confirmations didn't come through until the early hours of Saturday morning! My order didn't show up in my online account orders but I did have a confirmation email and contract docs. I've just spoke to Vodafone and they confirmed that the order IS there and it's "awaiting picking by DPD". Just putting it here in case anyone else has a similar issue with Vodafone upgrade/device plans :)

Thanks that's encouraging. Because this is what I've had since I ordered and it's not changing so far.

Yes just log into your profile and you can cancel the sim and then remove your bank details 😁

I queued up at Toys'R'Us at stupid o'clock in the morning, back in the day, for the launch of the Xbox 360! I hadn't reserved or anything so didn't manage to bag one. Then drove to my local PC World (before they joined up with Curries), where they had just 5 consoles available and managed to bag one right there!

Also, I friended a complete stranger in the very ancient O2 Forums for the iPhone 4 release back in the day. I then arranged to pick him up in my car and we drove to the Apple Store in Kingston for our phones!!

Good job he didn't turn out to be an axe murderer...!!!!

I haven't been able to check the thread for about two days... no chance am I catching up! 😂

I'll have a little browse through the last ten pages or so and see how you're all getting on!

They will deliver to a neighbour as a safe palcve as they can get a signature from the neighbour

I'd really like this too if possible for a SIM only plan? AM also looking at Sky sim only but been happy with my EE coverage.

I imagine with the bank holiday on Monday they are pulling out the stops to get deliveries out in advance to minimise backlog.
 
Damn, Mines DHL, its never DHL for me with apple always DPD. DPD for me is always late afternoon but DHL can be early and i've got work tomorrow morning, Damn
