Frustrated.
Due to App Store issues on launch by pre approved Barclays finance order ended up going to 3-10th October for delivery.
This morning I made a iUP reservation to collect the same model/colour tomorrow in the apple store.
Speak to apple to get the finance moved from the delivery order to the pick-up order and they won’t do it.
There saying I need to cancel the delivery order and then when in store re-apply for finance again.
Due to the app issues last week I had to re-do the finance as it had disappeared for the app. I don’t want 3 credit checks on my file in a week.
Anyone done this before?

This is the EXACT situation I’m in.
I haven’t asked yet but I’d hoped that moving the finance to the new pickup order would have been straightforward since I’ve orders the exact model, colour, storage and AppleCare with theft and loss coverage.
I’ll let you know what they say when I ask.

Just picked up mine at Regent Street - no queue, very quick and friendly staff, kind of a muted atmosphere. Apparently they didn't do in-store this year because of the Queen's passing and not wanting it to feel too "celebratory" on the day.
Yes totally agree here! I think this joke has gone way past its "use by date" and perhaps shouldn't have even entered the 2022 round!
