Still waiting on MM too, it is odd. If nothing lands today it might be worth thinking around some form of social media campaign, coordinated Twitter complaint or similar, they really won’t want that as it erodes confidence in their business.
 
Still waiting as well, it’s a shame because the actual process of using the smart drop kiosk was really good and easy. However, their issues with payment would make me think twice about using them again.

Doubt I will either. Worrying now that there is reports of people going to the smartdrop and it failing as no one there to examine phones….

I saw on trustpilot there are people who haven’t been paid after dropping their phones off on Friday as well.

I imagine MM have to investigate and make sure they don't send double payments and work out where the fault is. Over a bank holiday weekend of course things will take longer

Panicking and suggesting they may be in financial trouble with nothing to back it up is a little reckless.

No one’s panicking and it’s not reckless in the slightest to express some concern when you’ve dropped a £600+ asset into an anonymous box!

I am sure if you were the one left out of pocket you would have been concerned as well.

Yes, but not within a few hours of the next working day and I would not be suggesting they were in any financial trouble as has been done on here.

I posted my iPhone off to MM and the tracking didn't move from the PO and still hasn't, so I know what it's like when waiting.
 
Damn. So just got an email from ReBuy confirming that they can't offer £652 due to a minor crack on the bottom left corner on the back. So they can offer £530 instead. Will probably just do that as I did see the crack beforehand and when I did estimate price with that included, it was roughly the same.
 
I picked up a 14 Pro Max 512GB in Deep Purple last Thursday from the Apple Store in Brighton. I've not unboxed it yet, it is my first Max and I'm thinking I should have just gone for the 14 Pro. Was hoping to swap but my daily checks on stock doesn't indicate that they have more phones coming in just now.

Payment now confirmed, should come around 10pm according to their email.
 
If they have taken the money, it's likely to take a few days for the refund to be processed so you won't get it back instantly though?

Yeah you’re no doubt correct.

I won’t actually cancel. I’m just impatient and don’t like having to wait till October for my new phone.
