Anyone else think the dynamic island is one of the better new iPhone features in recent years? People I know who don’t even care about upgrading are interested just because of the dynamic island.

If I go down the Barclays finance route and take out apple care, if I have to claim on Applecare then I don’t get a refund next year, is that correct? But I could just pay out right and choose monthly apple care and even if I claim as it’s only monthly I just cancel whenever I want? I must be missing something.

Good question, does anyone know the answer to this? I guess if you keep the phone for 2 years it makes no difference but for yearly uogradders it does seem that getting apple care up front might be a bad thing if you have to make a claim.

Tempted! But after watching a few videos the case/strap will look so clunky on my wrists and I can’t really justify the step up from a series 7

i think i have decided to go with the gold one in the end.. i think i will just regret getting the purple one in the end, especially after a few months

That is my current feeling having 'decided' at one time or another on all the pro max colours today. Am really struggling though on making a decision on colour. Going to limit order to 2 phonesand choose on arrival but what 2 colours?

My dilemma is wanting to apply a gift card to my order but wanting to check out as quickly as possible tomorrow. I'll just need to make a decision and apply the gift card to one and then hope that if I decide to go with another colour that they will let me take it to store for refund and immediately buy back with the refunded gift card balance.

Not near my mac atm but it would be the same process. I’m sure the pre order shows up in your account on web too

I had a look on the website before and couldn’t find it. I created a saved item for the model I want any way just in case.

I am planning to pay via Apple Pay tomorrow. As I have lost my physical credit card and do not know the 3 digit security number! 😔 So relying on the saved version on Apple Pay.

How fragile is Apple Pay? I have seen a few comments that suggests people have previously experienced issues with Apple Pay on pre-order launch day, was this at check out or after order confirmation?

Contemplating buying gift vouchers but even that seems long too….

Just noticed the Apple Store app keeps crashing on my iPad Pro, it opens and then almost immediately crashes to the Home Screen. Anyone else had this issue, iOS 16.1 beta?

Looks like I'll be ordering on my iPhone tomorrow...

I think it depends on what bank your Apple Pay is registered with. I have never had any issues with my Apple Pay linked with Barclays.

Thank you. That gives me hope. I will be using my Aqua Credit Card and just looked up whether they have Apple Pay limits and they confirmed they don’t…. Just stated that you need the available funds… sounds reasonable to me lol
