ditto.. odd as you could clearly pre pre-order on the website too!

looking at emails sent, it does say to log back onto the apple store app to complete order!

As much as I love getting the new iPhone each year and as much as I’m pretty much fully committed before even seeing the thing… paying £1300 this year.. wow.

To think even 2 years ago I paid £749(?!) for the iPhone 12 mini 128gb

Getting 256gb this year as WhatsApp just seems to keep on growing (tried cleaning it up to no avail!) and can’t get on with iCloud photo’s optimise storage as it seems to store a noticeable low res photo that takes a nanosecond to download an acceptable version (rant over!)

that saved phone is not the same one as in which you'll complete your pre pre order.

just trialing a pre pre on apple.com and the wording there does say you can come back to apple.com to complete

You're fine taking it back to the store for a refund, and repurchasing it, don't worry :)

Yeah it’s starting to sting a bit paying more and more. Was really hoping the base storage was going to be 256GB to make the price increase hurt less but maybe next year… 🙄

there have been people with issues with banks blocking transactions in the past with Apple Pay...

you might need those 3 magic digits just in case!

The app is normally super easy anyway. Won’t be touching the website. Famous last words 😂

I have bought gift vouchers and added them to the preorder.

Pre-ordered 2 of the 14 Pro Models for us. Mine is Black, and Mrs is Purple.

Was going to order two new watches as well but not feeling it, our Series 5's are fine at the moment.

Sadly, I think I'm going to have to sit this one out, after being part of the pre-order club for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12.

I took out 2 yrs 0% finance on the iPhone 13 Pro Max and if I were to trade it in, the vast majority of the trade in amount would go towards settling that loan first, leaving just over £150 left to go towards the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I'm enjoying a low monthly payment at the moment and it'd jump considerably if I had to finance just shy of a grand!

Hope everyone has fun - pre order day is exciting!

I always think the silver is the best looking phone and have chosen it a good amount of times. Ithe only annoyance is the stainless steel seems to scratch more easily.

I'm not precious about scratches - I've never had a screen protector or case on any iPhone (my first being the 3G in 2008). I don't know why I'm scared of going for the silver version, I really don't know.

I guess I've always just gone for the dark phone, as I used to dislike the white front panel and white borders round the screen. Then when the X arrived I was so used to the dark phones I didn't change (even though the face became all black).

Oh what am I even talking about 🙄😂

I’m on the upgrade program and there’s no option for that, even though I’ve confirmed I’m now eligible to upgrade.

Will this option only become available tomorrow?

It rings a bell that this happened last year as well and I can’t remember what I did.

Annoying lack of info about the upgrade program as usual.

😂 Just go silver you won’t be disappointed and you know you can just buy a dark 15 next year 😂

yeah, pretty sure the upgrade program has a different workflow to it... this pre-pre is different.

as you're in the programme, you'll just get the option to upgrade through it when store opens
