Couldn‘t help having a chuckle at that. I’m sure they are made in France but don’t they make a lot of ‘Hermes’ ‘Chanel’ and’Louis Vuitton’ stuff in China?

Unfortunately, this is not the case. Made in China, Designed in France…
LV, Gucci, Hermes — All the luxury brands are made in China (or another country in the Far East).

I mean, why do you think the knock offs are so good? 😄😉

this sent me down a rabbit hole of procrastination again this morning!

looks like the bands are made in France and supposedly even come stamped with it, but then packaged up with the main watch centrally... so the blue band is collecting som serious air miles already!

I did just then, turned my VPN off and was ok after that.
no vpn here but same issue on multiple browsers.. just tried my work Mac and its broken there too..

seems ok on the phone and via apple store app though...

waiting game it is... hopefully come midday or so it will show the AirPods shipped!

I'm sorry if my weak attempt at humour made you panic for a moment. Actually, it's nothing to worry about anyway. Even if the Chinese are experts at producing fake goods it's worth bearing in mind that they are also capable of producing the highest quality of goods, the Apple iPhone being just one example.

not at all,

my missus designs handbags and works closely with leather manufacturers/factories in china.. the quality is second to none.. when you pay for it!

I was more curious on the route the bands take form France to china and then back to the UK!

There’s a 256gb just appeared in Aberdeen but can’t reserve “currently unavailable”

If I manage to get, how would I go about returning my 14P on Finance and getting that 256gb. Can I just pay the cash difference?

Hi Mate, they should be able to do all that in the store. It’s a couple years since I did in store pickup but remember one year got phone in Aberdeen and handed old one back and got trade in value for it and rest on Barclays, all done in store. You can also clear the loan and any left can put to deposit or for partial payment of the new one. Last couple years just got delivered and sent off old phone for trade in value All seem less but I currently have a delivery of first week Oct. Best of luck getting what you want mate.

That interesting. Most retailers will not do that. For example someone could be given gift cards for a particular retailer and buy a product from them. They could then take it back for a refund and ask for the refund to go to their bank account. In this case in effect they would be getting a refund technically on the gift cards which would not benefit the retailer as they did not get to keep the money from the gift cards. In my personal experience when I’ve used gift cards at other retailers and returned the items for a legitimate reason I’ve been issued new gift cards.

Yep I agree that’s the norm. I was surprised and happy as well as I didn’t want gift cards!!!

as you current phone is on finance, when you take it back into store (within those 14 days) apple would in essence cancel the loan agreement on your behalf with Barclays. you would then have to start a fresh with the new device and pay however you wanted.

Hey fam! Anyone else waiting on AirPods Pro 2 tomorrow? Mine are still on Preparing to Ship, I'm going to take my v1s to CEX today but I'd have preferred them to have moved to Shipped first!

Mine still say the same.

I’m gonna take mine to Cex I think.

Can you process online to take into store?

Keep seeing these ''Changed My Mind'' videos pop up.

It's another scam by these so called good samaritans who wants you to make them some £££ by watching their videos/channel so they can pay for their iPhone which they will keep but want you to return or not buy it.
Yep I see these and won't click on them.

Also the ones that start with "why I'm not changing to the XXX"

Click bait for £££ they are.
