I really want the Ultra, I bought an S7 thinking the Ultra would be too big but now I’m thinking do I even care….

For those of you looking for cases for the AirPods Pro 2, don't overlook what's available for the original AirPods Pro as the charging cases are identical in size.

I have a nice Incase case (hard shell with fabric exterior) that was a gift from a few years ago that I was hesitant to let go of. Fits perfectly on the AirPods Pro 2 charging case, though you do lose the lanyard loop (not important to me) and it does cover the speaker holes and the bottom LED.

The bottom LED can't be helped (the front-facing LED does shine through), but the speaker being covered up isn't problem. I've recorded an AirTag playing first compared to the AirPods Pro 2 charging case in a case:

MagSafe charging with the watch charging puck does work, even in the Incase case.

Unless the lanyard loop and bottom LED are precious to you, most cases should work fine.

Mine is the MagSafe charging. That was part of the reason for upgrade. I know I could get a new case before but it wasn’t warranted to spend on just MagSafe. Now with the rest of the changes it was worth it.

I purchased the incase lanyard online yesterday from Apple. Free delivery Tuesday-Wednesday £4 for Monday. Went for free. Just had a notification it will be delivered today!!!

You know what, I just tested the Apple Watch charger on my cased-up charging case and it works!

The magnetic bond was strong enough to lift the watch charging puck right off the table!

Will modify my above post...

AirPods finally got here a couple hours ago. Took me an hour to remember that there's volume control on the stems now! They're gonna get stress tested tomorrow on the Tube, will see how the noise cancellation holds up

Mine also got delivered at 7:45pm (DHL) - was delivery number 156!

Either way worth the wait and great improvement all round! Will also test in the tubes next week but will be keeping either way!

How is it with MagSafe as surely the MagSafe is stronger than the watch puk?

Phone feels so much better in the hand with the Apple leather case. £50odd quid is a lot of money for what they are but there’s no denying the quality.
Agree, I didnt know how to put into words the difference I felt with the Apple elather case on versus others. Defo recommend peeps to give it a try.

Good to know!

That’s the same case I had which left marks on the charging case when I took it off for the first time before selling cex.

I’m tempted to hold out as I’d want something that exposes the speaker holes through the case which the older model ones would cover up

I tried my new pros on the watch charging puck on the Belkin 3 in 1 and it wouldn’t charge. Not that it matters as it has its own space on the base for it.

Has anyone come out with decent watch ultra stands yet? @Jinjin

My current stand looks like the old school macs with the watch as the screen! Will be sad to not use that

Can’t say I’ve looked. I’m trying to ignore you ultra buyers and pretend I’m not thinking about it over my Hermes

I think it I was mentioned the Belkin 3 in 1 continues to work for the Watch

Actually it does seem to charge on both MagSafe and Watch puck side.. I’ll test properly!

It only gives that charging chime when on its proper place though. I’ll wait til it needs a charge again and see.

Hi everyone I can’t work out how to search this thread but does anyone remember this trade in site that was posted here which had a really good values? It was something niche not the big names. Like iBuy or something. They specialised in Apple stuff.
